What’s the value we bring to the Kingdom business sphere? I recently asked the Lord that question. They typical answer is something along the lines of we can do all things for all people (We’re not quite that good). However the value we do bring to business and people is FLOW. It’s the sense of a well-run business and a well-lived life that positions us to hear Father say well done!

Flow is the ability to create value and it has roots in Father’s purpose. It’s practical in that the value generates cash flow and it’s also spiritual in that we’re co-laboring with Father and sharing his purpose.

From Introversion to Sonship – The biggest challenge in Kingdom business is introversion. We typically define our apirations in terms of personal success that “misses” what Father is doing in the bigger picture. Being a son or daughter in the Kingdom isn’t immunity from problems, it’s signing up for warfare and persecution on the downside and Reformation of Nations on the upside. The paradox is that we live under Jesus’ promise of 100-fold return on the investment of our lives, yet getting there follows Jesus through deaths and resurrections that got no mention in business school.

Shit happens isn’t a bittersweet expression of remorseful regret, it’s a practical reality that business routinely navigate. That’s the point of resurrection. We can relationally walk people through the seasons we’ve walked through ourselves: abundant life and cashflow “and” death and resurrection back to life. Our paths all go through valleys, and we help people find resurrections, practically and spiritually.

Jn 12:24 – Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
25)  Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

Rom 8:28 – And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Culture – We create culture in business. When we connect with and communicate our Kingdom Business purpose, people resonate with it. When we hear the purpose in their heart, they engage with it. Shared purpose in a business culture creates Ecclesia in business. Engaged people create value and profit. If a business is built on Kingdom purpose, Father engages, and it feels like “FLOW.” We create much greater value and profit. Flow isn’t just doing things we enjoy and are good at. Flow is about what God can do through us and our team. That’s the genius of Ecclesia built around Intentional Reformation. (Click to get the free PDF and join our mailing list)
