The language of our hearts is pictures, scenes, movies, and images. That’s why dreams are never just words. When we want to change our hearts, a new movie script is required to exchange for the old. That translates to an experience. We don’t learn from more information. Our hearts change with each new experience (for better or for worse). When we first got saved it was an experience with the presence of God that did it. Explanations can help alleviate fears and mental doubts, but a relationship with Jesus always begins with an encounter with the person of Jesus. We can feel His presence, and the unweighting of forgiveness is very tangible.
The Online Heart Plan and Seers and Doers courses have great content, but the real focus was on the experience of implementing that content, and our target was the heart. So there was a progression of experiences each person went through that set their heart’s free in amazing ways. This blog is a summary of what we saw as the weeks went by.
The Heart Plan – Most of us come from a doctrinal/intellectual tradition of total human depravity. We believed our hearts were evil and can’t be trusted. As people gave themselves permission to explore the desires God wrote in their hearts, there was a prophetic confirmation that these discoveries were real. Other people confirmed those realizations and adjusted them, but the experience of the Father confirming His authorship of our deepest desires is a jailbreak experience. When they went on to build a plan around the purpose embodied in their heart’s desires there was another amazing experience. They began to believe their own plan! It became viable and practical as they wrote down goals and did the cash flow to implement their business plan. The last step was implementation. We’ve seen some amazing breakthroughs with tangible opportunities and finances. Dreams really do come true when we do our part, and God does His.
Seers and Doers – The heart plan included worksheets, goals, mind maps, and written plans. This course was pure experience in heaven. Everyone was carrying accusations from the enemy. In group session on zoom and individual sessions we agreed with the adversary and took them to the cross. Where there we generation roots that gave a legal basis for the accusations we put those covenants under the blood as well. The liberation each person felt was very tangible. We used seer giftings to facilitate those excursions to the courts and counsel. Everyone had to navigate trusting their imagination to experience the confirmation that what they saw could be easily discerned and was usually real. We moved on from experiences in the courts to the council and had more seer encounters that confirmed the Father’s heart and paved the way to co-labor with Him. What we discovered was that the context of each person’s heart plan provided a foundation that kept an intensely spiritual experience grounded and out of mysticism or weirdness. Experiencing the council of heaven was both practical and every bit as amazing as it sounds. We touched the Father’s heart and found a bridge between person reformation and practical strategies for the reformation of nations – also a jailbreak kind of experience that is very exciting and engaging.
Tribe – The overarching experience we did not anticipate was tribe. The transparency of knowing what’s in the other guy’s heart is the depth of relationship that causes people to respect and then love one another. It’s an amazing phenomenon; 1) ask a person about the desires of their heart, 2) help them clarify, and 3) they fall in love with you (no one has asked previously). The sweetest fellowship is working together. Tribe is a relational experience. People took the course for the content, but they raved about the new friends and the home they felt in their tribe.
