The video is here.
The Lord gave me this for a friend, but I feel that it has an application for many of us. I think there is something in this for women as well.
Recovering from Failures – You have beaten yourself up for doing things in your own strength, apart from God, long enough. The “old” deserved repentance and adjustment and renewing yourself in the presence of God, adjusting how you carry His presence and hear His voice. I think you’ve done that. You are God’s friend.
The new is here and, before you can step into it, you have to trust your initiative again. There is a heart boundary that says, “I can’t move forward until I learn this lesson of not getting ahead of God in my own strength.” That is starting to be a lie. God is with you and will bless whatever you put your hand to. He will give you land wherever you set your foot. Now you have to give yourself permission to find an initiative in your heart that you really want to do, and have that conversation with Father. He’s waiting for you to volunteer. The boundary is fear of initiative.
For a man or king or real spiritual maturity (you’re all three), our initiative and creativity in bringing home the bacon is how God wired us. We’re supposed to be warriors that conquer, providers that overflow, wisdom that is contagious, anointing that breaks yokes… that’s who we really are… what it means to be a man of God.
But what about the next setback? – Your heart is wanting to know how to respond to future failures. You need a theology to support it and a sense that God will not abandon you again. Just ask Him. Some of your initiatives will need adjustments, some will fail outright, and most will succeed and multiply blessing to many others. Your Father dwells in your heart – He’s enthroned there. Many of His initiatives are delayed; some even fail. That doesn’t mean we failed as sons. It just means we’re in the fray instead of on the sidelines. Kingdom is warfare – great victories and occasional delays and setbacks.
Send me – That’s your place, my friend… a warrior in the fray. God is inviting, waiting, wooing… everything but commanding. The Kingdom is a volunteer army. Saying “yes” is not enough, waiting is not enough, prayer is not enough… we have to bring our initiative from our hearts and have a conversation. Then we get to go out and make it happen.
God has invested a great deposit of Himself in you. I see you seated with Him in heavenly places for two very good reasons… to display His grace in your life and to do some exploits that show (show off) His glory. It’s a destiny that you have to choose from your heart, volunteer for with initiative, plan for wisely, and execute with the vengeance and zeal of a warrior with a passion that resides deep in your heart. And at every little victory there are tears from hearing Him say, “Well done, son.” And, there is also some dancing. You can feel both right now.
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Eph 2:6-10
The phrase I hear over you is that it’s time to “bring it”… in the spirit and in the natural.
Father, release your son. Let his heart soar with delight in offering up that which you give Him. It’s nearly untapped… immeasurably more than he realizes. So, for the sake of Your Kingdom, all the hearts he will release, and for the sake of Your glory, let this man of God possess his land. I give him permission to do exploits in Jesus name.
