Awakening Sons to Confront Evil
(Intro Video and Sharable PDF) Weâre all in the midst of another Great Awakening that is part of Fatherâs Reformation. We are being exposed to great evil that is easy to see and great blessing that is starting to flow. Sons are engaged in two things: declaring the year of the Lordâs favor and the day of Godâs vengeance or judgement (Isa 61:2). They can distinguish between good and evil and do something about it.
The Cultural Stronghold â leads us to an immediate confrontation because our culture, particularly public education and the media, is saturated in moral relativism that has three key beliefs:
-
- Moral truth doesnât exist, apart from my own values
- Itâs OK to pursue the lusts of your flesh; my values âruleâ
- There is no evil, and no judgement from others is allowed
The string of truth in this ethical Nihilism (moral truth doesnât exist) is that the Mosaic covenant with all those laws and legalism that led to death has been replaced with His Spirit, a relationship.
2Cor 3:6 â He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenantâ
not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Iâve found this graphic helpful in understanding the influences of New Thought in our Culture.

Living Words â That relationship with Godâs Spirit is our presence in the Courts and Council of Heaven hearing Living Words via conversations with Father, Jesus, and the 7 Spirits. Those Living Words and that relationship with Father are completely transparent, nothing is hidden! Our identity is unveiled, our story is healed, and Fathers purpose, strategy and tactics become clear with conversations.
Heb 4:11 â Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest,
so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
12) Â Â For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow;
it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
13) Â Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered
and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Co-laboring with Father â As a son, Iâve chosen to engage with Fatherâs purpose and Iâm volunteering for the mid-course corrections, the adjustments a loving Father makes with His sons and daughters so that we stay on the same page (righteousness). Now there isnât a legalistic rule book administered by Pharisees, but there is still right and wrong expressed in those Living Words, and they are broadly consistent with the Scriptures.
Once I experience Fatherâs love in pulling me into His purpose I engage in co-laboring with Him. I can see why my fleshly tendencies being corrected is necessary, and I experience the fruit of being on the same page with Father (everything works better), and peace (I even love myself more).
Heb 12:11 â No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.
Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace
for those who have been trained by it.
Awakening my Heart â Weâve just described the discipleship of sons being awakened to their own purpose and calling that God wired into their hearts, the topic of routine conversations in the Council. That purpose is the dynamic process of âfollowing the Lambâ in a relationship, not living out a predestined script.
Seeing Hearts â My eyes are opened to my own spiritual heritage and the diligence of keeping in step with the Spirit (Gal 5:25) in the Council. When my own heart is fully transparent before the Lord, the next awakening is that He begins to show me Living Words that discern the hearts of others. Iâm sharing Jesus work of setting other captives free. I can see both their calling and election and the evil that pulls them away from their own sonship.
My natural first reaction is to recoil from anything that appears judgmental. But judging evil and accusations in the Courts of Heaven is what sets captives free in the spirit first and then on earth second. Weâve been commissioned, called, and authorized to play a role in removing the chains of strongholds from people with weapons that are not of this world (2Cor 10:3-5):
Jn 5:22 â Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son
(and Jesus engaged us continue even greater works as Sons and Daughters)
Lu 10:19 â Â I (Jesus) have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions
and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
Isa 22:22 â I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David;
ï Â Â what he opens no one can shut,
ï Â Â and what he shuts no one can open.
Mt 16:19 â I (Jesus) will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven;
ï Â Â and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven,
ï Â Â and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.
Jn 20:22 â And with that he (Jesus) breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
23) Â Â Â Â Â Â ï Â Â If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven;
ï Â Â if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
Yes, but how? â There are several types of soil in peopleâs hearts with varying degrees of receptivity for Living Words. If Father shows us something via Living Words, our role is to take them to the Courts of Heaven (often by proxy), take the accusation to the cross, and release Fatherâs decrees.
#1). Â Those Who Love God â We all still miss the mark (1Jn 1:8) and need the grace of God to stay on track with what Father is doing. The Courts of Heaven is the legal basis to remove accusations so captives are freed and can move forward in co-laboring with Father.
#2). Â Those Indifferent or Hostile to God â This level of captivity still warrants a court session, but the correction âcan beâ the loss of the wood, hay, and stubble they created apart from God. That usually feels like death and resurrection (a fairly common experience for Sons). We only know whether Father is covering sin with forgiveness or burning up fleshly dead works by hearing Living Words in the Courts. We donât bring our bias to Heaven.
Rom 8:7 â The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God;
it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
Either way, sons bringing cases for judgement in the Courts of Heaven is how captives are set free in the Spirit (weapons not of this world).

Progression to Sonship â Your Kingdom purpose and redemptive stories form the basis for your personal identity, purpose, value creation, and your business offer. Becoming your authentic self is the Fatherâs non-religious key to flow and fruit in business and life. We offer practical and prophetic coaching to help you get there, flowing with your Father (co-laboring) instead of fighting circumstances and resistance alone. Is this You?

Q&A: Awakening Sons
Q1: I’m intimidated by the idea of judgement. Isn’t that God’s job, not mine?
This is the natural recoil most sons feelâuntil they understand that receiving discipline qualifies you to share judgement. Look at the parallel in Psalm 94:

Notice the progression:
-
- Sons RECEIVE discipline (v. 12) – “Blessed is the one you discipline”
- Judgement is founded on righteousness (v. 15) – through that discipline
- Sons SHARE judgement (v. 16) – “Who will rise up for me against the wicked?”
The answer to verse 16 is: “Sons.”
Father isn’t asking you to bring human judgement, bias, or vengeance. He’s asking: Will you volunteer for My discipline first (so you know how it works), then carry that same righteous judgement for others who are captive to evil?
Death and resurrection are a “way of life” for sons. You experience Father’s loving discipline personally:
“My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke,
because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in” (Pro 3:11-12).
Once you’ve volunteered for Father’s discipline in your own lifeâonce you’ve experienced the death of wood, hay, and stubble followed by resurrection powerâyou’re qualified to help others through the same process. You’re not bringing your own judgement; you’re carrying Father’s righteous judgement you’ve already experienced via Living Words from real conversations.
The intimidation comes from thinking:
-
- “I’ll get it wrong” â But you’re relying on Living Words in Courts, not your opinion
- “It’s not my place” â But Father explicitly asks, “Who will rise up for me?”
- “I don’t want to hurt people” â But leaving them captive to evil IS hurting them
The freedom comes from understanding:
-
- You’re not the judge; you’re the intercessor bringing cases to the Courts of Heaven
- You’ve been through discipline yourself; you know it produces righteousness and peace
- Letting evil go unchallenged keeps captives boundâlove demands justice
This is why sons both:
#1).  Help people volunteer for Father’s discipline (walking them through the Courts)
#2).  Carry judgement themselves (as Father’s representatives against evildoers)
You rise up against the wicked not in anger, but in love for those they’re wounding. You take a stand against evildoers not to condemn them, but to remove their power to harm. You share judgement not from pride, but from having been the Spirit yourself.
Bottom line: The intimidation dissolves when you realize judgement isn’t about your authorityâit’s about Father asking sons trained by His Spirit to rise up and set other captives free.
Q2: What if people reject the invitation to sonship?
Father isn’t desperate for lukewarm participation. “It’s OK if people say no. I am reserving their ‘choice’ rather than lukewarm” (Rev 3:16). Intercession doesnât preempt free will, it enables free choice. When people reject sonship, Father is honoring their choiceâreserving them for potential future awakening rather than keeping them half-hearted. Don’t take their rejection on yourself. You sow, but the soil of their heart determines the harvest (Lu 6:45).
Q3: What are we trampling when we have authority over snakes and scorpions?
-
- Snakes= Pharisees, brood of vipers (Mt 12:34)âreligious control and legalism
- Scorpions= Oppressive rule (1Kgs 12:14)âpolitical and institutional control
Sons have authority over both religious deception and oppressive systems. Ps 58:3-6 describes those who spread lies from birthâtheir venom stops their ears to truth. Father’s answer? “Break the teeth in their mouths, O God; tear out the fangs of those lions!” This is the Courts work: removing the power of accusers to wound others.
Q4: What are the different types of Court sessions?
Court sessions are:
-
- Loving, covering, forgiving, freeing captives(mercy)
- Discipline from loving Father(releasing consequences, then resurrection power)
- Administering justice to snakes and scorpions(for sake of people they wound)
There’s nothing to be afraid ofâall three are necessary, all three are where the Lamb leads. Don’t have a fleshly, independent system of justice. Just do what Father is doing. Rely on Living Words, not human recipes or personal bias.
Q5: Is reformation about exposing evil or building good?
Both. “Proclaim the year of favor AND the day of vengeance” (Isa 61:2).
Reformation is:
-
- Exposing and clearing away evil, evildoers(Justice)
- Rebuilding broken cities, ancient ruins(Reformation)
Have the lens to follow the Lamb in both. Like Nehemiah rebuilding walls with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the otherâwe’re not just exposing darkness OR building light; we’re doing both simultaneously.
Q6: What happens when I have face-to-face encounters in Council?
Face-to-face encounters in the Courts and Council don’t just change what you knowâthey change your countenance. When you reflect Jesus (because you’ve been face-to-face in Council), people are drawn to your face or run from it. Like Moses coming down from the mountain, your face reflects the presence. Both responses reveal the soil of their heart.
Q7: How do I maintain a Council atmosphere as a leader?
If you maintain the atmosphere of the Council, it’s fruitfulâthere will be Living Words. If there are fleshly diatribes, self-ish stories, rabbit trails, subject changesâthere will be no “face time” with Father, no presence.
Have a healthy, loving, transparent, discerning judgement present. You set the atmosphere by what you allowâit determines safety and fruitfulness for people: Living Words (Banquets) vs. fleshly rabbit trails (Breadcrumbs).
Q8: What’s the progression from breadcrumbs to Council access?
Breadcrumbs from Holy Spirit are being replaced with face-to-face conversations. Paul prophesied this transition:
“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known” (1Cor 13:12).
This isn’t future heavenâthis is Council access now. The childish ways of partial knowledge (breadcrumbs, prophecies in part) are giving way to mature sonship (face-to-face conversations). When completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
Q9: How can releasing judgement be merciful?
When the soil is not right, it’s merciful to release judgement (burn the wood, hay, stubble)âso that resurrection may follow and the soil of their heart may be softened.
“I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh” (Ezek 36:26).
“It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees” (Ps 119:71).
Sometimes love releases consequences so death and resurrection can do their work. Discipline produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those trained by it (Heb 12:11).
Q10: What are the treasures we store in heaven? â Sons.
“Use worldly wealth to gain friends (Sons, 7 Spirits) for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal (perpetual) dwellings” (Lu 16:9).
“Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (Mt 6:20)âco-laboring with Father stores sons in heaven. This is the measure of true success: not wealth accumulated, but sons awakened and released into their calling.
