Our Adversary’s offers are hard to compete with… all the Kingdoms of the world and their glory?

Mt 4:8 – Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain
and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

9)
And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.”

Secular Marketing offers are equally tempting because they are intentionally crafted to give you exactly what you want – to be like God in some way (Eve bit the apple because she bought the offer… to be like God, Gen 3:5). Satan’s offers touch your subconscious emotions: to restore what has been stolen financially and heal what has been wounded relationally. The result is always disappointing because the offer is always a lie packaged in just enough truth to make the sale: the definition of bait and switch!

What’s really happening?

#1)   Our adversary is negotiating the price of your soul. What would it take for you to “buy-in?”

#2)  The offer is: 7 Figures, love, a beach house, time freedom, travel, fame, influence, etc.

#3)  The pitch is usually from someone who really does live the example on earth.
(because he or she has already sold his or her own soul; the pitch even has a dark anointing!)

There are many wealthy businesspeople, famous actors, musicians, and leaders who have traded their souls to make their dreams come true (references attached). You’re just being entertained with the same offer. There is no thin red line between these trades in the Spirit and bribery in the natural (Satan has the former, the cabal has the latter). Both lead to snares and coercion that we would never volunteer for… if only we had known!

Well, now you know! If you make the trade, it’s nearly impossible to reverse course without miraculous redemption. You can’t just change your mind and buy your way out; it’s a legal contract in the Spirit!

Mt 16:26 – What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Sources of Deception – Some trades are very demonic or occultic, but not all. Satan or the Devil are terms used in the bible to represent evil from every source. The Devil is our adversary, yet we can also be our own worst enemy. Here are three “fashionable” alternatives for trading away Living Words and Godly wisdom for garden variety counter offers:

Ja 3:15 – This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

Earthly or worldly – Everyone is doing it. It’s the cultural norm and it must be OK.
(Their mind is set on earthly things… Phil 3:19)

Sensual – Desires in my own heart are tempting and drawing me into compromise.
(Their god is their stomach… Phil 3:19)

Devil – there really is a powerful evil entity who targets, tempts, deceives, and ensnares.
(You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. Jn 8:44)

God has a better offer – Part of what makes God’s offer better is that Satan doesn’t have an offer, just a lie. He is the Father of lies after all. (More on God’s offer below)

Note: Believers often mistakenly believe God for Satan’s fame and fortune. Outward success and wealth beyond measure isn’t really the centerpiece of advancing in the Kingdom. “It’s not about me” is a great Kingdom perspective for dreams, success, and even failure. Carnality aways puts “ME” in the center of “MY” universe. We are neither taking a monkish vow of poverty “or” filling our hearts with the heady anticipation of worldly success. As sons, we’re drinking the cup and following the Lamb wherever that leads.

Suggested Exercise:

    1. List your areas of perceived lack and write down any enemy accusations that go with them.
    2. Take those accusations and any roots to the Courts of Heaven, the cross
    3. Hear and release Father’s decrees that replace them.
John’s example is in the Council Session that inspired this blog, Dealing with Lack.

Abundance – have a heart that:

    1. Views Father as your portion and your cup; your definition of success (Ps 16:5).
    2. Intentionally allows Father to “add all these things” instead of running after them yourself (co-labor with him, Mt 6:32:33)

Good Marketing

We’re not trying to paint all marketing as bad. When done correctly, it’s a great blessing and an attractive business function that we advocate with enthusiasm. Jesus said, “Follow me” and “I will make you fishers of men.” That’s marketing. Kingdom business is worth trumpeting because it’s a tool Father is using to redeem His purpose in people, businesses, cities, and nations.

Kingdom Marketing has three ingredients: (Template for syncing your purpose and offer is here)

#1)  It starts with living, prophetic words. What I do in business is what Father is doing (Jn 5:19). I’m following my Father’s purpose. It’s not just static Christian values; living by a code of conduct, doing business by process and procedure. Father’s purpose is living, dynamic, and authentic. It takes conversations in the Council to keep in step.

#2)  When our offer represents Father’s leading and purpose, it resonates with the purpose in our clients. Marketing conversations help them build that bridge from the Father’s purpose for them to His purpose in our offer. We learn to hear hearts. We learn to work with those we can help and bless those we can’t.

#3)  Marketing bears fruit. New ideas, new products, and new wealth all flow from providing a client with an offer that fits His Kingdom purpose and business process. Kingdom marketing creates intentional strategies for Father to “add all these things.” The real joy in marketing is seeing how much a client’s cause is furthered by the help we sold them. Our offer multiplies their abundance relative to the price of the sale. Clients see the worth before and after the sale.

Our value is helping people navigate marketing so that it communicates their core purpose, resonates with clients via the prophetic juice in the copy, and pays for itself many times over. Good marketing connects purpose with process so that your business makes a difference and a profit.

What  Father is offering you:

#1)  Purpose – The currency of the Kingdom is purpose; Wealth is the treasure we store in Heaven (People). Father offers us identity, redeems our story, and gives us purpose aligned with His own heart, plus the power to ask whatever is needed to make that purpose a reality.

People who trade for the enemy’s offer are always inauthentic, empty shells, without a soul; without love for anyone but themselves. It’s sad and shocking when you look behind the mask.

#1)  Life – Jesus gives His sons and daughters life, and life more abundantly (Jn 10:10). Jesus was the Word (Jn 1:1, 14); sons and daughters are the Living Words and Living Water who do the greater works. Jesus is the King of kings, and His follower’s rule and reign with Him. Father has decided to redeem the earth in a Reformation that comes through His sons. It’s actually fun—it fits your design!

Those who have traded their souls have nothing but their own strength and the power of deception to further their cause. It’s tragic to watch. Once you see the shallow offers, the hollow impersonations, you can’t unsee them. Hirelings, who ironically surrendered free will to gain independence.

#3)  Sons – Sons hear “Well Done” from Father when they are on the same page implementing His purpose. They have access to His family, His conversations, and the living words via ascension to Heaven and via His Ecclesia on Earth. There are many other sons and daughters sharing the broad theme of Reformation and contributing inside their personal metron. You get to be yourself, join a team or have a team working on the desires of your and Father’s heart.

#4)  Inheriting Nations (Reformation) – Father’s sons and daughters don’t just live for the moment; they co-labor with Him to release real change in people, businesses, cities and Nations. Jesus promised, “Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance” (Ps. 2:8). Kingdom inheritance is not a temporary thrill or a material bribe—it’s authority, legacy, and impacts that ripple into eternity. Unlike Satan’s offer, which is a short-term lease on fading glory, Father entrusts you with real contribution. You get to build something lasting that blesses others, multiplies value, and leaves a legacy.

#5)  Glory – Jesus prayed, “The glory you have given me I have given them” (Jn 17:22). Sons and daughters carry Father’s purpose, Living Words, anointing and power on earth. The glory of God is His presence, His favor, and His creative power resting on you. Unlike Satan’s counterfeit “glory of the kingdoms of the world,” Father’s glory never fades, never corrupts, and cannot be bought. It flows from intimacy with Him and transforms the world through you. Carrying His glory means your life becomes light, influence, and hope that points others back to Father’s heart.

Summary – Satan’s offer is always a shortcut: quick glory, fast wealth, and empty promises that end in loss. God’s offer is slower, deeper, and infinitely better (Eternity is a long time; this life is the blink of an eye)—it’s purpose that fills, life that overflows, sonship that secures your identity, inheritance that multiplies into eternity, and glory that brings Heaven to  Earth.

One path drains your soul; the other ignites it. When you choose Father’s offer, you step into authenticity, authority, and joy that can’t be counterfeited. The cabal is fading, but Father’s Kingdom in heaven and on earth is unshakable—and you’ve been invited to help build it.
