The step change in sonship is access to conversations in the Council (Jer 23:18,22) and the Living Words we bring back to earth. Being able to hear Father’s heart instead of drawing our own conclusions based on doctrines, values, traditions, or opinions is a whole new world. Sons are developing the spiritual agility to follow the Lamb to Father’s dynamic purpose. It’s not static or religious; purpose moves.
What competes with hearing Living Words? There are three false paradigms that draw sons away from Living Words and leave them without a desire to be in the Council (three business traps that kill divine connection). They tempt us to substitute an idol for the purity of worship in Spirit and Truth. I have personal experience with all three!
1).  Identity Idolatry– The Kingdom is all about me and my heart’s desires. Faith is leveraging God to get what I want. It’s the soulish Happy Lie of the New Thought movement that is all the rage in business marketing circles.
2).  Ministry Idolatry– God’s perfect will is for me to get out of business and have a full-time microphone ministry where other people send me money. It’s wonderful!
3.)  Wealth Transfer Idolatry– God wants to shower me with wealth so I can be an example of His blessing and do His will. I’m entitled to it, and I have the prophecies and verses to prove that God wants to give me something-for-nothing.
The common thread in all three is independence, the freedom to be my own god and do things my way. All three come with deception and eventually the heartbreak of dead works. Let’s pull the string on Wealth Transfer.
Receiving Glory – Jesus was the firstborn son who received power, wealth, wisdom, might, honor, glory, and blessing(Rev 5:12). What surprised me is that our Father wants to put glory on His sons and daughters. He wants to make your name great. He wants you to be visible. The riches of His glory are displayed in every facet of your joy, family, work, heritage, and finances. Jesus is not ashamed to call us brothers. The glory on you reflects the glory in your Father.
So, we’re not ashamed or afraid of wealth, but sons are very aware that wealth follows and serves a higher Kingdom purpose. It’s a byproduct, not a goal or an identity. Wealth naturally follows Father’s Kingdom purpose. The creativity in sons turns that purpose into value that blesses others so much they are glad to pay for it in the context of business. We are blessed to be a blessing.
The prophetic deception in wealth transfer
often hides behind the religious dead works of Stewardship.
Sons do need Living Words, but they are never short of money.
They can ask for everything they need to do everything Father is doing
Wealth is not what’s missing from men, or business, or culture, or nations.
- What is needed is Kingdom purpose that leads to creativity and value creation. Wealth is the creative process that produces value and blessing for others; value they are glad to buy.
- More wealth isn’t the bottleneck, and it’s not the answer to poverty (Mt 4:4). Poverty is not a lack of money, it’s a lack of productivity and fruitfulness that naturally multiplies. Money naturally follows purpose and value.
- Wealth and position don’t define sons (Lu 12:15).
- Lack of wealth doesn’t limit sons with access to what Father adds (Jn 15:7).
Miracles do happen – We’re not describing a form of godliness, but denying its power (2 Tim 3:5). Miracles do happen. Father loves to “add all these things” and “He knows you need them.” The problem is when sons try to create the miracle of wealth transfer with a shortcut motivation – Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) or garden variety envy (others are doing it, I can too). When we presume to have living words like wealth transfer, we end up in dead works that don’t work in business. The something-for nothing philosophy is a filter on our ability to hear Father’s voice; a theological confirmation bias that deceives us.
Perceived Lack is an orphan mentality – Sons are content because their Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills. It’s not a contentment that lives in poverty; it’s contending to bring Heaven’s abundance to Earth via Living Words in Business.
- Sons currently lack nothing. They have everything they need to do what Father is doing today. Perceived lack is an orphan mentality that doesn’t trust God or receive from Him!
- Sons can do all things through Christ.
Phil 4:11 – Not that I am speaking of being in need,
for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.
12) Â Â I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound.
In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret
of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
13) Â Â I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Jn 15:7 – If you remain in me and my words remain in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Miracles, step changes, and our heart’s desires… all begin with Living Words from the Council.
- Serfs are spiritual orphans who get the dial tone in prayer and provide for themselves.
- Sons flow with their Father’s provisions via Clarity, Creativity, Diligence, and Co-laboring.
As sons and daughters, you will mature through worshipping these three idols. Father disciplines His sons through unpleasant deaths and glorious resurrections – routinely! It’s not an issue of salvation; it’s an issue of fruit. Do you want to bury your talent or multiply Living Words 30, 60, or 100-fold?
The seeds you plant to multiply in life are the Living Words that proceed from the mouth of God (Mt 4:4). Sonship starts there and stewards the glory in that purpose. Identity, ministry, and wealth are never #1, they are byproducts of sons hearing and stewarding Father’s Kingdom purpose (Mt 6:33).
Jn 12:24 – Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies,
it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
25) Â Â Whoever loves his life loses it,
and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
26) Â Â If anyone serves me (denies Himself, Mt 16:24), he must follow (accompany) me;
and where I am, there will my servant (son) be also. (Jn 14:2-3, 17:24)
If anyone serves (follows) me, the Father will honor him. (Glorify him)
