🔥 Co-laboring with Father in Business

In Your Head vs In the Council – How do we co-labor with Father in Business? We do our part obviously, but we want the experience of Father doing His part to be equally obvious! We want our business to make a difference for the Kingdom and we want to be doing what our Father is doing (Jn 5:19). Our culture is mostly centered around the cerebral religion of knowing the recipes, values, and verses that drive our to-do list. Hearing living words from Father is not the norm. Most of us believe that we have all we need; that we can just make the decisions between our ears and move on, without really hearing God. We’re trading the introverted bigger barns in our heads for the Council, knowing Father’s Kingdom business.

that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

20) for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

What’s the measure of God’s Favor? – Most of us are a little prone to assume it’s money. After all, businesses go out-of-business when the cashflow doesn’t work. Money certainly is an important ingredient for business, but it’s a byproduct of the value we generate and the blessing of God.

God does claim to be our provider (Yahweh Jirah) and our healer (Yahweh Rapha). So, what gives when I’m sick or behind on the bills? That’s when our internal dialog (everything is within me) fails us. Self-condemnation isn’t particularly helpful, and the secular cure is worse! The concept of adjusting your mindset to different expectations, the power of positive thinking is also a whiff of self-deception.

The only way I can know the answer is to have a conversation with my Father. Few of us know how to do that with any confidence. We are used to getting the dial tone and resorting to our cerebral recipes, or we get some crumbs and fill in the blanks. We want to put the Kingdom first and His righteousness and have him add all these things, we just don’t know how. We try the recipes from those who claim success and they ultimately leave us empty, because gurus are not God, and their recipes are not Living Words. We don’t live by bread (money) alone. It’s not a heart-healthy diet!

Matt 4:3 – The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
4) Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”

Riches Toward God – We are our Father’s sons and daughters and we do have the power to prophetically tell sickness and lack to “get behind me.” But the authority for those commands follows a conversation with Father. That conversation defines spiritual wealth in a way that superficial success never does. If you can have conversations in with your Father, you are spiritually wealthy, and God’s favor will be on your life and business. Those conversations lead to Kingdom purpose: 1) Reformation on earth, and 2) treasure in heaven. It’s bad business to ignore eternity and Reformation because there is no purpose or why behind our work! Like wood, hay, and stubble, it’s all gone with our last breath.

Ascension – Our traditions are evangelicals reading their bibles and charismatics waiting for words. Neither are conversations. Jesus redeemed our access to Father and our seat in heaven. The sons of God all creation has been waiting for are repopulating Father’s divine Council which includes dialogue with the seven Spirits of God (Truth, wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Knowledge, and Fear of the Lord). The fullness of the Living Words from these conversations reinforces the written word and expands our charismatic crumbs to a full meal. Now we have nine unique facets of Yahweh communicating with us every time we ascend.

Impact on Business – My business strategy includes two fronts. Is Father adding His part? And am I answering for my part? Most people have some grasp of the value of traditional business coaching. What is new is intentionally opening the gates to let the King of Glory into our business (Ps 24:7-8). How do I do that? What are the KPI’s that release Father’s heart to co-labor with us and us with Him?

The Kingdom age is moving, dynamic, conversational:
From – Compliance with recipes and rules (Heads – we figure it out in our heads)
To – Engagement with conversations (Hearts – We have heard from Father’s heart)

It’s simple once we admit the answer is outside us. Then it becomes obvious we should ascend, and ask, and seek, and knock! Those conversations in the council allow us to experience the purpose and passion in Father’s heart. That prophetic direction and enthusiasm is what sons and daughters bring to earth, it’s Reformation. When we’re on the same page, sharing His purpose, hearing His voice, and seeing His Heart, Father is willing and able to add all these things that He knows you need (Matt 6:33).

How do we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness? It always comes back to conversations in the council around the clarity of our dynamic Kingdom purpose. Kingdom Business leaders can and do solve problems routinely, but they do so in the context of hearing Living Words in the council, having a grasp of Father’s evolving purpose, and receiving a series of miraculous assists via co-laboring with Father when He adds all these things.

Jn 5:18 – he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
19) Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can
do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.
20) For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does.
Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.
