The Secret Place is Face to Face
Pantheism is a belief that Got is a force instead of a distinct personality. A force might have static principles, laws, and values, but God has a voice; He speaks in dynamic conversations. His mercies and manna are new every day. Religion is the bastion of substituting rules, feelings, vibes, hunches, and promptings for conversations. It’s the spirit of religion that says, “I can hear from God… but you can’t.”
Sons, even sheep, hear and heed His voice. The Greek word for voice is phone! The essence of knowing God is having conversations with Him. It’s always been that way. Jesus redeemed our access to God and to conversations with a personal Father. Believing that he can’t or doesn’t talk to me is pantheism not Christianity. Father God is not a force; He is a lover, and you can know Him by talking to Him.
- Jn 10:27 – My sheep listen to My voice (G5346 Phone), and I know them, and they follow Me.
- Gen 32:30 – So Jacob called the place Peniel saying it is because I saw God face to face.
- Ex 33:11 – The Lord would speak to Moses face to face as one speaks to a friend (Jn 15:15).
- Jn 5:27 – You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. (Jesus to pharisees)
- 1 Cor 3:11 – When I was a child, I spoke as a child. I understood as a child. I thought as a child. but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 – For now (as a child) we see through a glass darkly, but then (as a man) face to face. Now I know in part: But then shall I know even as also I am known.
The Secret Place is Face to Face – The Bible is full of references to the secret place (almost 50 on in the cutting room floor at the end). Jesus often retreated to a secret place, went up to a mountain, a desolate place, etc. The secret of the secret place is that it’s meeting God face to face and having conversations. Mountains and Mt Zion are referring to Heaven’s Courts and Council. Words and promptings from the Holy Spirit as we go through our day are real, but conversations happen in the Council when we ascend and take our seat in heaven.
The Topic is Father’s Heart – Traditional prayer for me was rattling off my list of wants and needs and once that was over, prayer had run out of gas in about 5 minutes. The Council is much more focused on Father’s heart, more specifically the purpose in His heart. The role of sons is to have the conversations around that purpose and bring it to earth. Conversations are with Father, Jesus, and each of the 7 Spirits. Now prayer is about an hour because there are nine of those 5-minute conversations that bring out different facets of Father’s heart. Sons bring back a clear purpose. The result is a reformation of people, business, communities, and Nations. Father has invited us to bring heaven to earth. Reformation becomes possible because sons hear and see our Father clearly instead of through a glass darkly. The Seven Spirit Cue Cards are a roadmap to the seven Spirits of God that will help you make the Council practical.
- We do what Father is doing (Jn 5:19)
- We say what Father is saying (Jn 12:50)
Discipleship is helping people with hearing what Father is saying and doing what Father is doing.
- By sharing it with them (so they can taste and see, feel the truth of it).
- By showing them how to hear for themselves (Experience hearing and seeing in a safe space with a mentor)
Kingdom Culture – Sonship and conversations create a kingdom culture around shared purpose. People find out what Father is doing and do it with Him. Businesses have a Kingdom purpose from Father’s heart that is clearly known and shared, so people get excited about it. Shared purpose is the definition of Ecclesia. Work becomes fun; Work becomes worship. We talked more on this topic on a 30 minute Zoom (Many more insights)
We talk more in the next blog about How to build a Kingdom culture in a business. But for now, let’s introduce a simple concept. Face time with Father changes our hearts in way that facilitates face time with people. Want to Build a Kingdom Culture in a business. The price tag is:
