The gospels record Jesus going up into a mountain nine different times, but Luke 8:16 also says he “often went,” and there are likely many more instances than those recorded; it was Jesus’ regular practice. If you’ve been to Israel, you know there aren’t many tree-filled mountains (like none). Are mountains a metaphor for something else? Mt Zion is not just an unimpressive hill in Jerusalem (Heb 12:22).

Mark 4:33-34 – With many such parables He was speaking the word to them, so far as they were able to hear it; 34 and He did not speak to them without a parable; but He was explaining everything privately to His own disciples.  NASU
Prov 25:2It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.

Experiencing Heaven – The concept of the courts and Council of Heaven is going to heaven in the spirit to allow our Father to “show us” what he’s doing. We can bring heaven to earth with some sense of knowing what we’re doing and why. My own experience is in Seers and Doers, and the theological foundation is in The Unseen Realm by Michael Heiser. The point is straightforward. When you see what Father is doing, you will turn the earth upside down to do it with Him. We call that Kingdom – It’s fun (Jn. 5:19).

John 5:19-20He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he is doing. In fact, the Father will show him how to do even greater works than healing this man. Then you will truly be astonished. NLT

The New Testament has many references to “mountains” that are parables for the Council of heaven. That’s where Jesus was going oftentimes (Lu. 5:16). And that’s where sons are being invited to go as well. The Greek word is oros (G3735) which means ‘a rising’ and is usually translated as mountain. You can see dozens of these instances of oros in the New Testament at the end of this blog – it’s amazing!

Isa 2:2In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. NIV
Ps 84:7They go from strength to strength, Every one of them appears before God in Zion. NASU

Practical Ascension – The point of all this is that it’s not new. Jesus ascended to His Father’s heaven often, and so should we. Yes, your seer gift plays a role too. Father wants to show you His purpose. As I looked through all these references to mountains, I ran across the Olivet discourse in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. When Jesus throws in a phrase like “let the reader understand,” that’s a hint that this isn’t about running away to the mountains and hiding out until the rapture. There is one literal fulfillment in 70 AD when Jerusalem fell to the Romans and the temple was destroyed and it was wisdom to get out of town.

Matt 24:15-16So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel — let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.  NIV

Note: Jesus is referring to this verse in Daniel!  Is this court on a mountain (Heaven) or on earth?  Do sons play a role in the courts of heaven?
Dan 7:25-27 – He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time. 26 “‘But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. 27 Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.’  NIV

The Timeless Pattern – So what do you do when a wrong spirit stands in a holy place (a fraudulent election)? When your government is corrupt, and its leaders are an abomination (transgression) that causes desolation (Judgment)? Evil in positions of power (on a mountain of cultural influence) is a pattern that powers and principalities have repeated throughout history! If you’re a believer (those in Judea), it would be wise to flee to the mountains (the Council) and see what Father is doing. He’s cooking up a scheme (reformation of nations) that is bigger than any plan from the dark side. That’s why we’re all over Intentional Reformation; we’ve seen it!

Ps 2:7-8I will proclaim the decree of the Lord: He said to me, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father. 8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.  NIV

Powers and principalities love to occupy the tops of cultural mountains in every nation. They always have; it’s a timeless principle. Our job isn’t to endure the corruption, it’s to take down the high places and occupy those mountains with Godly leaders. The real sons of Romans 8 are replacing the fallen sons of Genesis 6 and establishing His Kingdom on earth. Jesus was the firstborn son and he’s not ashamed to call us brothers. Sonship is part of the atonement and part of God’s Kingdom strategy to repossess the earth.

Rom 8:28-30 – And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. NIV
Heb 2:11-12 (Ps 22:22) – For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying, “I WILL PROCLAIM YOUR NAME TO MY BRETHREN, IN THE MIDST OF THE CONGREGATION (ecclesia in heaven’s council) I WILL SING YOUR PRAISE.”  NASU

Why go? – We’re are experiencing more and more opposition as God’s Kingdom gets brighter and brighter. Most people can see this administration trying to destroy the economy, impose censorship, mandate vaccines, flood the border with illegals, give Afghanistan to the Taliban, start another war, etc. Most can also see it’s intentional, and it fits a larger Satanic strategy. A cabal is leveraging Covid-19 to perform a great reset – All reinforced by governments and media to discourage and overwhelm! But God has an answer; a prophetic trumpet!

See the Kingdom – But if you can see what Father is doing and understand the strategy He has in mind, it dwarfs all the ridiculous howling coming from the Jackal, the Hyena, and the media. Can you and I know the Father’s plan? ‘Yes and no!  “No” if you are passive about seeking him, and “Yes” if you appear before God in Mt Zion (the Council). All creation is waiting for Sons who frequent heaven, see God’s Kingdom, and bring it to earth. The outcome is not in doubt. We are only deciding if we’re individually playing the role God has written in our book and in our hearts – So Go!  Will fear immobilize us, or will we be part of the Ezekial 37 army who awaken to co-labor with our Father and see a great victory? It’s our choice!

2 Tim 1:7For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. NLT
John 3:3 – no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again NIV
John 3:25 – . . . whoever rejects the Son will not see life NIV

Sons (Seers and Doers) – The ecclesia are really the sons who ascend, not the saints who sit. So we get the keys to the car, to bind and loose, and we know how and why to use them because we’ve seen the Father’s purpose. We really can be our Father’s sons and Jesus’ brothers. The whole point of the cross is sons; to pave the way from lost to ascension right into the Council of Heaven. Paul calls it seated in heavenly places.

Matt 16:15-20 – He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”  16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.  18 “I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church (ecclesia); and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.  19 “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”  20 Then He warned the disciples that they should tell no one that He was the Christ. NASU

Reformation of Nations – All creation is waiting for the new sons of God (Rom 8:18-25) to join the divine council and replace those who fell . . . and replace their rule over the nations, which belong to God. He is bringing many sons to glory (in this life) for a purpose – the great commission. It’s our job to disciple nations first in the spirit then in the natural. We are called to bless nations by our ministries in the seven mountains of culture. Jesus is the firstborn of many brothers whom He is not ashamed to call friends. Why? We are the sons called to be part of His council. That’s the message behind all the intimate language, e.g., thrones, crowns, friends, sons, brothers, Kings and Priests, co-laborers, sharing His glory, reigning with Him, seated with Him, etc. Because the Nations belong to the Father, they are also “our” inheritance as His sons. Can you see the connection with reformation instead of just revival?

Ps 2:8 – Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
Ps 72:11 –  all kings will fall down before You; All nations shall serve You.
Ps 82:8 – Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.
Ps 115:16 –  The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to man.
