The video is here.
This is a time when we all think about goals and resolutions for 2015. Having some extra time over the holidays, I decided to start the process and wasn’t getting anything too exciting. So, I asked God, “What is on your heart?” What follows is the conversation, not the last word for everyone, just what the Holy Spirit spoke to me. I would encourage you to add to this list.
Invitations to 11th hour disciples – The Lord is taking the wraps off Kingdom people already positioned in their mountain. There is a whole generation of people with little religious or church background who are being invited into Kingdom. God has already prepared and positioned them for great fruit. It is our privilege to connect this with Jesus, help them to see their own significance in the Kingdom, and help them to succeed with wisdom and anointing. God is handing them a mantle.
New friends – Whole new networks and connections are being opened. We’re finding kindred spirits, of whom we knew nothing, who are already on the same Kingdom path. They add fuel to the fire… acceleration in building the Kingdom, and richness in the fun of doing it.
Resurrections completed – The Lord is removing grave clothes to complete resurrections. The last remnants of oppression, bondage, and financial struggle are being lifted in a way that will free dreams and resurrect what has been stolen or attacked in the past. Free at last; free at last! You are not being left out. The Lord has not forgotten you.
When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” John 11:43-44 NIV
Entrepreneurial Evangelism – Nations are being blessed through entrepreneurs in every mountain. Instead of being fearful of governments, corporations are helping governments to solve problems, and have a conscious goal to bless their nation. It is powerful and transformative.
The Light and the Glory – There have been many curses spoken against the American economy, currency, politics, and military. The Lord is reversing them for the sake of nations. The ministry of America is to break strongholds and set captives free. She is a lighthouse in God’s hand to bless nations and free peoples. God is blessing her to be a blessing. Specifically, her economy is strong to raise up the world’s economy. It is the “exceptional” plan of God.
Fruit first – the spiritual authority in ministries and business (any mountain) will no longer just come from preaching, teaching, the prophetic, branding or advertising. The message will be confirmed with fruit. Financial self-sustainability will be one measure of disciples in the Kingdom. Another will be, “does it work?” When God speaks to us and lays a burden on our hearts, it’s easy to share it with others verbally and have the burden lift. The key is to keep quiet and make it work in your own life and then share it with your deeds and fruit. Words alone are not enough in the Kingdom.
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. 1 Cor 4:20 NIV
Isn’t it obvious that faith and works are yoked partners, that faith expresses itself in works? That the works are “works of faith”? James 2:22-23 MESSAGE
…by their fruit you will recognize them. Matt 7:20
Hearing God’s Heart – you may be thinking, “John, these all sound like your heart.” Exactly! He’s put something of his own heart in each of us. When we ask what’s on His heart, it’s not surprising to hear what He wrote in our hearts. Kingdom happens when our heart and His are on the same page. It’s really fun to co-labor with the Father. Loving God and doing what you love is the definition of a party. It’s worship!
I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.” Ps 40:8 NIV
The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks what is just. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; his feet do not slip. Ps 37:30-31 NIV
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. John 4:34 NIV
