A good friend sent me this message as a prophetic admonition. I thought it was very relevant and decided to share it in this newsletter.
The Lord has a significant plan for the message that you carry and it is being sharpened to have even more penetration in the days ahead than in times past.
However, the Lord would say that as the sound rises to a decibel level that has more and more impact, you become visible to higher and higher levels of the enemy’s realms. Do not think that he has not already scouted out each of your areas of vulnerability so that, in due season, he can attack with weapons that are applicable to each of you. So, the Lord says to double your shields and reinforce the full armor of God, for surely a subversive attack has already been launched and, if it does not succeed in tearing you down, another wave will be launched. Do not be deceived by the evil one, but be on your most diligent guard both day and night and, in righteousness and integrity, the Lord your God will sustain you and cause every false attack to be defeated. Only double your guard, says the Lord.
We should not be ignorant of enemy devices, and we should be aware of the doors that leave us open to attack: unforgiveness, unbelief, lack of focus on the Kingdom, getting outside our metron (assignment), and becoming slothful in prayer. These all represent areas where we can drift away from the Lord. Vigilance and diligence to delight ourselves in the Lord are keys to riding on high places (Isa 58:14). Spiritual warfare is mostly about staying close to Jesus.
If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven — if there was anything to forgive — I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, 11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. 2 Cor 2:10-11 NIV
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. Col 2:8 NIV
Guard your heart – the other tactic of spiritual warfare is to try to separate Kings from the desires of their heart. Believers doing the will of God by operating out the desires of their own heart is a central Kingdom dynamic. Our counter is to guard those heart’s desires and resist being discouraged or quitting.
Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Prov 4:23 NIV
Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. Prov 4:23 NKJV
God also has a strategy – Whenever God makes someone’s name great or promotes them in the Kingdom, He adds the necessary protection to go with it. It’s like the Presidents Secret Service detail providing security for him. Only, in our case, I believe extra angels are assigned to watch over us. God never leaves His servants vulnerable to the enemy.
Put the Kingdom first – Second, for those who put the Kingdom first, he promises to meet all their needs in abundance. Our cup continually overflows with His grace and His provisions. We are not lacking in any area in spite of the design of the enemy. God is much more powerful. We are hidden under the shadow of His wings and protected by the arms of his love. We are safest simply doing what the Father is doing.
“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matt 6:28-34 NIV
A good offense – Lastly, we are not in a defensive stance. We are not only protected from enemy attack; our commission is to spoil his territory and expand the Kingdom. The enemy has no right to anything on this earth, and we are in a winning battle to take back every square foot. Jesus already defeated Him at the cross; we are just mopping up so that the earth can be filled with His glory. Our enemy is defeated and we are more than conquerors. We are the ones who come in like a flood and attack the enemy strongholds to set the captives free.
So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream Which the wind of the Lord drives. Isa 59:19 NASU
Examples – Want to hear what this heart of a lion sounds like? Two men were greatly used by God in the practical mountains of government and the military during Word War II. The first is the movie version of a speech George Patton gave to the 3rd army… by George C. Scott. It has lots of colorful language (could be offensive). However, it misses the reaction of the men who listened to the speech. The actual transcript is somewhat longer and includes some hint of their response in the first link.

“I don’t want to get any messages that we are holding our positions….” Listen especially from 3:30
The same spirit is in this actual recording of Winston Churchill; very prophetic at the time!
