This question invites us to explore our human potential. What dreams, powers, and hidden talents reside with you that you can awaken by aligning with your true self? Usually, there is a wealth component in this alignmentthat baits the hook with compromise. Human potential is a popular self-deception that is, bluntly stated, complete BS. It insulates our hearts from ever asking what Father is doing, and it totally misses the opportunity to release what God can do.
Human potential gets mired down in self-awareness, self-discipline, self-righteousness, self-help, self-examination, self-discovery, self-confidence, self-esteem, self-control, self-worth, self-fulfillment, self-actualization, self-expression, self-sufficient, self-assessments, self-respect, self-promotion, self-motivation, self-acceptance, self-reflection, self-awareness, and self-improvement. Can you see that it’s not healthy? Everything you need is not inside yourself. Aligning with yourself is the epitome of introversion. Life is not all about me!
Eph 3:20 – to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
according to his power that is at work within us.
The allure of human potential is compromised because, ultimately, it trades part of your soul for money, dreams, status, and visibility. The devil is more than happy to distract us with the pursuit of human potential instead of collaborating with our Father. Here are two realities that the concept of human potential entirely overlooks.
Volunteering to follow what Father is doing, as Jesus did in John 5:19, is not a loss of freedom or a life of servitude. God is way ahead of us! He has inscribed the desires of your heart in a way that perfectly aligns with His purpose for your  The initial glimpse of your Kingdom calling will excite and fulfill you in ways you never thought possible.
God empowers us – it is the Spirit of God that gives life; the flesh of human potential is no help at all (Jn 6:63). God canaccomplish far more than we ask or imagine, through the miraculous power of His Spirit working within us (Eph 3:20). The true measure of being Father’s son or daughter lies in our ability to release or receive what God can accomplish! This is the modern benchmark of sonship. The power in Eph 3:20 refers to dunamis (God’s miraculous power, not our own).
The Shift – Sonship is fundamentally refocusing my life and goals from me-myself-and-I to Father’s purpose. Instead of all this human potential movement introversion and selfishness, now my heart is asking, Father, what is on Your heart? Lord, what are You doing? Can I do it with you?
As a Kingdom businessperson, I’m interested in staff resumes, what you’ve done and what you can do. But, I’m even more interested in, What can God do through you? What has He already done through you? I’m intentionally building my business around Father’s purpose and staffing it with sons and daughters who resonate with that direction and have the spiritual maturity to operate on a dunamis level far beyond their own human potential. It’s a night-and-day difference between doing all this stuff on your own versus having Father and His Ecclessia army of sons and daughters help you.
Context – God is not a genie in a bottle you can rub to get what you want. The genius of Kingdom purpose is that Father is bringing heaven to Earth in a Reformation of Nations… through His sons and daughters who volunteer to help! The supreme irony is learning to lose your life to save it; to lay your life down and take it up again. It’s totally your decision, even though it seems like a no-brainer!
Mt 16:25 – Whoever wants to save their life will lose it,
but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
Jn 10:18 – No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord.
I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again.
The Path to Sonship – There are three experiences Father has for His children. It all starts with receptivity, e.g., humility. Nothing happens until we say, Yes, Lord! I want this.
Rom 8:19 – all creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.
Mt 5:3 – Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 5:5 – Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
It’s not about human potential, fast talk, big goals, self-sufficiency, wealth, and ego!

- Sonship – To feel chosen as Father’s Son            (Sonship, Rom 8:19)
- Fellowship – To access the Kingdom of Heaven (Ascension, Lu 12:32)
- Co-Laboring – To inherit the Earth, Nations (Reformation, Ps 2:8)
What releases Father’s power in business? The answer is Sonship, Ascension, Reformation!

The Story of What Can God Do Through You?
Central Point: Human potential is BS. Father’s power through sons is everything.
#1: The Human Potential Rabbit Trail
I remember sitting in another self-help seminar, surrounded by entrepreneurs chasing their “best self.” I was exhausted from the endless cycle: self-awareness, self-discipline, self-improvement. I had the vision boards, the morning routines, the accountability groups. I was winning (or losing) by every metric: growing revenue, building teams, gaining visibility. But inside? I felt hollow. Everything was about me… My potential. My dreams. My success.
Have you ever felt that? You know when you’re living life, but something feels… off? You’re checking all the boxes: self-confidence, self-sufficiency, self-actualization… but you can’t shake the feeling that you’re running on a treadmill going nowhere? You’ve aligned with yourself, optimized yourself, branded yourself… and you’re more exhausted than ever?
That’s because everything you need is NOT inside yourself.
The Hook – Human potential is complete BS. It’s the ultimate self-deception, a wealth-baited hook that trades pieces of your soul for money, status, and dreams. The devil loves keeping you busy with refining your human potential because it stops you from ever asking the one question that changes everything: “Father, what are YOU doing?”
Guru’s will tell you to “unlock your greatness,” “tap into your inner power,” “manifest your destiny,” “release your gift for the rest of us, the world needs you.” The entire self-help industry runs on this lie. They promise you can achieve anything if you just believe in yourself enough, hustle harder, find your authentic self. But here’s what they never tell you: Aligning with yourself is the epitome of introversion. Life is not all about you! Introversion is the cancer that eats away at your authenticity and your identity and leaves a flaky shell everyone avoids.

Human potential awakens ambition. Father’s purpose awakens sons.
- Ephesians 3:20 says God can do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to HIS power that is at work within us.”
- Not your power. His power. Dunamis, God’s miraculous power.
- John 6:63: “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing.”
- Human potential awakens ambition. Father’s purpose awakens sons.

#2: The Sonship Shift
I’ll never forget the day I stopped asking “Lord, will you bless my business; What I’m doing?” and started asking “Father, what are you doing?” I was building my business, staffing it with talented people, great resumes, proven track records. But I noticed something: the ones who operated in human potential didn’t have lasting fruit, they moved on. The ones who operated in Father’s dunamis? They multiplied everything they touched. I realized I’d been hiring for the wrong thing.
You’ve seen it too, haven’t you? You hire the superstar who looks amazing on paper, but they can’t sustain it. You know when you meet someone who’s successful but spiritually starving? They’re running on their own fuel, and it’s running out. Meanwhile, you’ve also met those rare people who seem to have unlimited energy, favor, and breakthrough. It’s not because they’re more talented, but because something else is flowing through them.
That’s the difference between human potential and  what Father can add (Mt 6:33).

The Hook – The shift is from me-myself-and-I to Father’s purpose. Instead of self-help introversion, my heart is asking: Father, what is on Your heart? What are You doing? Can I do it with You?
As a Kingdom businessperson, I’m not just interested in what you’ve done. I want to know: What can God do through you? What has He already done through you?
I’m intentionally building my business around Father’s purpose and staffing it with sons and daughters who resonate with that direction; people who have the spiritual maturity to operate on a dunamis level far beyond their own human potential.
They will say this is impractical. “God isn’t interested in business.” “Spirituality and commerce don’t mix.” “You’re being naĂŻve; business runs on metrics, not miracles.” They’ll mock you for believing Father cares about your quarterly goals. But here’s the truth they’re missing:
God is not a genie in a bottle that you rub to bless your human potential agenda.

The supreme irony: Learn to lose your life to save it
- The genius of Kingdom purpose: Father is bringing Heaven to Earth in a Reformation of Nations through the sons and daughters who volunteer to help.
- Matthew 16:25: “Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.”
- John 10:18: “I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again.”

#3: The Path to Power
I used to think hiring was about competence. Give me the MBA, the proven systems, the track record. Then I met a guy with almost no business experience, but when he spoke, things shifted in the room. Deals closed that shouldn’t have. Clients said yes who were leaning no. I watched him operate and realized: this isn’t human potential. This is Father working through him. This is Father’s power working through a son who has been in Council Conversations and knows how to co-labor.
I had to ask myself: Am I building my business on human wisdom or Father’s Purpose?
Have you ever wondered why some businesses have a spiritual atmosphere that feels different? You walk into their office, and something is alive there. You know when you meet a team that’s not just executing tasks. They’re on a mission that’s bigger than profit? You can feel the energy difference between a company running on human potential versus one running on Father’s purpose, can’t you?
That’s not motivation. That’s not hustle. That’s the power of sons and daughters co-laboring with their Father.
The Hook – What releases Father’s power in business? The answer is Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation.
It’s not about human potential, fast talk, big goals, self-sufficiency, wealth, and ego. It’s about three experiences Father has for His children:
- What is Father doing that I can do with Him? → Co-laboring with my Father
- What unleashes Father’s power?
- Sonship – To feel chosen as Father’s Son (Romans 8:19)
- Fellowship (Ascension) – To access the Kingdom of Heaven (Luke 12:32)
- Co-Laboring (Reformation) – To inherit the Earth, Nations (Psalm 2:8)
They will say you’re being mystical. “That’s not how business works.” “Show me the ROI on prayer.” “You can’t scale spirituality.” They want formulas, systems, replicable processes: all human potential tools. And yes, those things matter. But without Father’s dunamis flowing through them, you’re just another exhausted entrepreneur grinding away on your own strength.

Human potential trades your soul for success.
Father’s power multiplies everything you touch.
- Romans 8:19: “All creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.”
- Matthew 5:3: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
- Matthew 5:5: “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.”
- It all starts with receptivity, humility. Nothing happens until we say: “Yes, Lord! I want this.”
DECREES (You believe 3% of what I say; 97% of what you say!)
#1). I am a son/daughter of the King, chosen to co-labor with Father.
Not because I’m talented enough. Not because I’ve mastered self-discipline or unlocked my human potential. It’s because I said, Yes, Lord!
#2). Father wrote the desires of my heart in perfect alignment with His purpose for my life.
I don’t build businesses on my own strength anymore. I build them with Father’s dunamis; His miraculous power working through me.
#3). I am part of the Ecclesia army of Sons and Daughters bringing Heaven to Earth.
I staff my business with sons and daughters who operate beyond human potential; people who know how to access Father’s Council, hear His voice, and release His anointing.
#4). I am not interested in what I can do. I’m interested in what God can do through me.
The question isn’t about your resume, your skills, your proven track record. The question is:
- What has Father already done through you?
- What is He doing now that you’re co-laboring on?
- Are you operating on human potential or Father’s dunamis?
This is the modern benchmark of sonship: the ability to release or receive what God can add.
THE INVITATION
All creation has been waiting for a reason. Sons, bringing a Reformation.
Father is doing Reformation through His sons and daughters. Not through your human potential. Through His power at work within you.
