The genius of Kingdom Business is the opportunity to leverage the purpose God put in People. We have one Father God, but there is still room for natural fathers and mentors who disciple sons. Your business is called to be an Ecclesia that promotes People and Purpose.
You have felt welcomed by the grace in a leader who understood your heart and appreciated your anointing. You’ve also felt the egocentric pressure of a taskmaster who tried to hammer your heart into his process.
A spiritual father is a story guide who knows the purpose theme in your life. Whether it’s staff in business or clients in sales, fathers prophetically understand the purpose in our hearts and how to make that dream come true. That’s a different sound than a leader who tells you or sells you their promise-perfect process or product; there is no such thing!
Spiritual fathers see the purpose God wrote in other people and help them take the next step. They are available to triage blind spots in our hearts and in our business when we get stuck. They take the initiative to check on progress; they see what’s coming. They are accessible, not aloof or busy; neither are they nosey or intrusive.
Conversations and Co-laboring – The main job of a spiritual father is helping sons connect with Father God. Milk is the string of all-about-me rabbit trails that define immaturity. Solid food in the Kingdom starts with conversations in heaven and co-laboring on earth.
Heb 5:14 – But solid food is for the mature,
who by constant use have their senses exercised to distinguish
good – righteousness (on the same page with Father)
from evil – iniquity (on my own page, independent from Father,
(worth-less in terms of bearing fruit that remains)
(comes to nothing; the wood, hay, and stubble that burns)
Worship in Kingdom business soars; it carries you with the substance of doing what Father is doing (Jn 5:19). It’s learning how to put the Kingdom first so God himself can add to our life and business (Mt 5:33):
- It’s the difference between “me wanting & working” my will, agenda, and plan, (Vs. “me flowing” with something Father is already doing… His cup!)
- It’s the difference between driving others into my plan, (Vs. inviting them into the path Father has for them)
The love language between Father and His sons is Conversations and Co-laboring. Natural fathers teach their sons to fall in love with Father via Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation. It’s the experience of contributing to and being carried by a much higher purpose!
- Sonship – The experience of being chosen by Father for a unique purpose, coupled with the surrender of everything that competes with it. (Mt 6:32-33, Rom 8:19)
- Ascension – Routinely in the Courts of Heaven to deal with accusations in the Spirit and in the Council having conversations with Father, Jesus, and 7 Spirits (Jn 1:51, 15:16, Rev 4:1). Your business will translate purpose to both Kingdom culture and cash flow.
- Reformation – Based on the progress in Heaven, I’m bringing Living Words, clear purpose, and Father’s power to Earth in a way that redeems People, Businesses, Cities, and Nations.
The Key to Kingdom Business is the experience of sonship; that we are chosen for a role in our Father’s Kingdom. Getting on Father’s page makes our life and business fruitful. We’re no longer just making widgets and money, we’re building our Father’s Kingdom on earth in an exciting Reformation that touches the nations. We’re operating in a level of power and anointing that describes mighty men and women of God who do exploits in Jesus’ Name.
Jn 15:16 – You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you
so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and
so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
CTA – Choose to be a father – There is a movement of fathering sons into their inheritance that is new in business culture. To mentor from prophetic Living Words instead of our knowledge, experience, and beliefs is a stretch for all of us. The payback is sons who can hear God themselves and do exploits in your business. We’re not just looking for great resumes and what people can do. In this Kingdom age, the question is, “What can God do through you.”
Leadership is answering that question, understanding the purpose God wired into His sons and daughters. It takes conversations and co-laboring to get to the bottom of what people carry. Are you willing? God is not inviting us to pray that He will sovereignly fix what He’s called us to faithfully steward. Be a father, love people, and know the prophetic purpose written in their hearts, the hearts of His and your “sons.”
