I’m not sucker for goofy conspiracy theories. There has always been an abundance of end-time doom speak. Faulty church eschatology has done as much to supercharge the climate of fear over a flu virus as the infection rate. The most crucial conspiracy is the one led by the Holy Spirit to use sons to bring a reformation of nations. It is amazingly well hidden. Even believers call heavenly strategies conspiracy theories on occasion, and at the same time, miss enemy strategies entirely. There is an “awakening” happening right now. Eyes are opening to strategies on both sides.

Despite politically-correct shaming, there is a devil, he does have sons, and they do implement strategies that we confront spiritually and practically. Can you name any enemy strategies and sons who carry them out? They do exist.

John 8:44-45You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. NIV

Acts 13:9-12Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, 10 “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? 11 Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, and for a time you will be unable to see the light of the sun.” Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand. 12 When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord. NIV

No theology – Lots of well-intentioned, prophetic, and mature believers have no theology for the enemy or his sons. They simply believe God is in control (He allows or causes all things), and He will work out everything in the end. That sounds good, but it translates to two fundamental misconceptions:

  • There are no conspiracies – I’m sure people believed the Holocaust was a conspiracy theory at one point in history. The Biblical truth is that we have an enemy whose strategy is to kill, steal, and destroy. Those acts (corona included) are not God or the will of God.
  • Evil is God’s Judgement – If God is the controller of all things, it causes people to think He must be judging the earth when something goes wrong. Or, that He is somehow shaking us into repentance for our discipline. Or, that He is closeting us in a wilderness to develop our character. Currently, that shaking (attributed to God) is killing people and causing bankruptcies. Servants accept this BS with open arms.

Both misconceptions discourage believers from fully living out what is in their book, engaging in warfare and removing evil when it blocks them from the desire God wrote in their heart. God has sons too – the ones all creation has been waiting for sons who can see and do what the father is doing – bind and loose in the name of Jesus.

Sound doctrine – sounds more like this: “Both good and evil have fathers and sons and strategies. God’s sons are like David’s mighty men who run toward the battle and kill Goliath’s.” In addition to God’s sons, two categories of people are remaining:

1. Children of the devil are people committed to their father’s strategy. If you can grasp this theology, you can also discern them. Jesus spared no words on these “people.” Saul’s servants politely avoid these verses of scripture (in the name of love and religious/political correctness ‘we must never judge or discern’).

Matt. 23:27-28 – “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. NIV

2. Saul’s servants – The second category are believers on their way to heaven who haven’t matured into their sonship. They are religious, but not righteous. The difference is that Saul’s servants run from battles and David’s mighty men run toward them.

1 Sam. 17:24 – When the Israelites saw the man, they all ran from him in great fear. NIV

1 Sam. 17:48-49 – As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. NIV

All this is important because the heavens belong to God, and so does the earth. But, the mandate to steward or rule over the earth, has been delegated to sons. We just need them to show up!

Ps. 115:16The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. KJV

The mandate of sons to possess the earth and bring reformation means overturning enemy strategies and evicting some powers and principalities. It’s a task for sons, not servants.

Eph. 6:11-13Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. NIV

Matt. 13:37-39 – “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil NIV

John 6:70-71 – Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!”  71 (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.) NIV

John 8:44-45 – You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. NIV

2 Cor. 2:10-11 – I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven — if there was anything to forgive — I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, 11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.  NIV
