Intro Video – Three dangerous philosophies masquerade as spiritual maturity in Christian business. Each promises progress. Each delivers a different form of bondage. And each prevents you from accessing the one thing that produces Kingdom advancement: your seat in Heaven’s Council. All three are summarized in the graphic and described in the paragraphs below to make the contrast with Sonship.

#1). Derail (Letter of Law) → Prevents SONSHIP (Identity)

We all get saved with a personal and spiritual touch from Father that impacts our hearts. It’s natural for new believers to try and codify this precious experience in a set of rules that eerily sounds like the old covenant that Jesus just redeemed us from!

In this stage we fall back into our intellectual self-reliance to recast the Spirit into our own image of religious rules, procedures, legalism, and principles. We love microphones and platforms to help make it happen and rely on a form of Godliness that denies the power (2Tim 3:5). More at Escape the Dead Letter Society.

The Cost to You (Identity) – You build Christian businesses that need constant external validation, live in fear of “doing it wrong,” and never experience the freedom of co-laboring with Father.

    You relied too much on your own opinions and interpretation of scripture.

You’re stuck in Letter of the Law if:

1. You ask, “Is this biblical?” more than “What is Father saying?”
2. You need theological validation before taking business risks.
3. You fear identity judgment from your Christian peer group.

#2). Derail (Breadcrumbs) → Prevents ASCENSION (Council Access)

In this stage, we mature into hearing from the Holy Spirit through hunches, promptings, intuition, and quickened verses. This charismatic stage is real, yet a fraction of what Father is saying because it’s a breadcrumb, not a meal; a phrase compared to all the conversation Father wants to have when we’re in our seat in Heaven. We often translate Breadcrumbs into the promise of what God will do for us and skip what He’s inviting us to do. More at From Breadcrumbs to a Banquet.

The Cost to You (Ascension) – You get divine hints but miss the full strategy session; you’re always hungry, never fully equipped; decisions remain 80% guesswork based on human reasoning without the Spirit of Wisdom.

    You relied too much on your intuition and added too much human reasoning to fill in the blanks.

You’re stuck in Breadcrumbs if:

1. You’re always waiting for the next prophetic word.
2. You can’t make decisions without a “sign” or confirmation.
3. Your strategy is “God will provide” without knowing or co-laboring with His plans.

#3). Derail (Work Processes) → Prevents REFORMATION (Kingdom Impact)

The third ditch entrepreneurs are prone to fall into is the thrill of making business work and making money. We get so excited about our own vision that we can become OCD, driving, and controlling. This stage makes money but typically misses Father’s purpose and people’s hearts in the process of pushing an agenda. Business degenerates to “It’s all about me.”

These folks are productive and industrious but miss the point of putting Father’s purpose first. The end is often a train wreck of major proportions because they also miss what Father can add (Mt 6:33).

The Cost to You (Reformation) – You build impressive revenue but hollow legacy; you succeed in business but fail at fathering, relationships, and your business culture; the trainwreck isn’t “if” but “when.”

    You relied too much on your business acumen, personal drive, and spiritual presumption.

You’re stuck in Work Processes if:

1. Your business plan and morning meetings don’t start with Father’s Purpose, your why!
2. You have the same level of success without hearing from God.
3. Your team knows your standards but not your purpose.

Sons are Father’s Solutionaries

Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation are going somewhere. It’s not a journey void of a destination where we all learn to enjoy the ride. It’s a movement in the Spirit, in Sons, in Businesses, and in a Reformation of Nations.

The newest Kingdom innovation is believers being present in their seat in Heaven for Council conversations with Father, Jesus, and the 7 Spirits. The result is righteousness: Living words to know Father’s purpose invite them onto His page to make it happen. The sons and daughters all creation has been waiting for are bringing Father’s purpose to earth in a Reformation.

The biggest ramification is that conversation around Father’s purpose in the Council activates their sonship on Earth. Instead of revolutionaries tearing everything down, they are Solutionaries bringing heaven to Earth. They are conducting the Isa. 61 rebuild of broken people, cities, systems, and cultures.

Two Unique Attributes that Flow from Conversations in the Council

#1).  Sons and daughters have a prophetic anointing and personal zeal for creativity, innovation, and initiative that brings Heaven to Earth, not just spiritually, but practically in every mountain. Prophet, Priest, and King are no longer offices. Every son and daughter is being equipped by the Holy Spirit, and the fruit is particularly evident in business right now.

Prophets – They hear Father’s voice and know Heaven’s purpose.

Priests – They can intercede in Heaven’s Courts and Council.

Kings – They can co-labor with Father to make things happen on Earth.

#2).  The second thing they do well is making room for what Father can add. They co-labor with Father’s Purpose in a way that releases their talents and ingenuity coupled with God’s power.

Father isn’t looking for more religious Christians running businesses. He’s raising Solutionaries—sons and daughters who sit in Council conversations, receive Living Words full of the Spirit and Life, and bring Heaven’s solutions to Earth’s problems. The question isn’t whether you’ll build a business. The question is whether you’ll build it from the Council or from the derails.

There is still a place for Lawyers, Sound Doctrine, Promptings from the Holy Spirit, and LEAN Manufacturing. They all come second, right behind Father’s purpose in business.
