Intro Video — Most business owners operate in an impossible tension: they believe they’re sons of God with kingdom authority, but they’re waiting for that authority to fully activate in some future millennium. They sense their business matters to God, but they can’t quite shake the feeling that “real ministry” happens somewhere else. They want breakthrough, but they’re postponing reformation until Jesus returns to do it Himself. They passively trust while the enemy actively steals.
This cognitive dissonance isn’t a minor theological nuance. It’s the parking brake keeping Kingdom business from operating at full capacity. And the key to releasing it is understanding one simple truth: the transition already happened. We’re no longer waiting for a Tribulation, a Rapture, or Sonship.

Preterism: The Foundation That Changes Everything
Preterism is the view that most biblical prophecy was fulfilled in the first century at the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 isn’t academic theology. It’s the foundation that makes Kingdom business actually work. And it’s a theological framework that is much more in line with the Bible.
Here’s what changed in AD 70: The Old Covenant age ended, the temple burned, and the Synagogue of Satan was destroyed. The priesthood that mediated access to God was removed. The system that kept people at arm’s length from Father was destroyed. Romans 8:19 says creation was waiting for the sons of God to be revealed. That waiting ended when the Old Covenant fell.
Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 16:28, “Some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” This wasn’t vague eschatology pushed thousands of years into the future. It was a concrete promise to that generation, and it was fulfilled when Jerusalem fell and the kingdom was established.
What this means for you: Sons and Daughters are bringing Reformation to earth now. You’re not waiting to become a son with authority—you can be a son or daughter now. The kingdom isn’t coming; it came. Your access to Father in the Council isn’t partial or delayed, you already have a seat in Heaven. The reformation of nations isn’t for a future millennium, it’s your job description now.
o
Sonship: Operating from the Identity of a Son
Traditional futurist theology says sons will be revealed when Jesus returns. Preterism says sons were revealed when the Old Covenant ended. This shifts everything about how you operate in business.
You’re not a believer who owns a business and hopes to be a son someday. Occupy until I come is a lie. You can be a son who carries Father’s authority into your industry now. The Courts of Heaven aren’t a future legal standing; they’re where accusations can be removed today so you can operate without condemnation. Your identity isn’t aspirational; it’s positional and practical. You can be seated with Christ in heavenly places right now via Ascension (Jn 1:51). Sons are having conversations in the Council now!
In Kingdom business, this means:
- You stop waiting for permission to operate as a son who ascends and has Council Conversations
- You stop questioning whether you really have authority in your sphere
- You stop treating business as secular and ministry as sacred
- You start building destiny from your prophetic identity, your redeemed story, and your prophetic Purpose
o
Ascension: Your Headquarters in the Council
Futurist theology treats heaven as where you go when you die. Sons recognize that heavenly places are accessible now through ascension into the Council.
Revelation 4:1 says, “Come up here.” This isn’t an invitation to a future generation—it’s for sons who understand the barriers were removed at AD 70. When Jesus ascended to the Father, He didn’t close the door behind Him. He prepared a place for us that you may be with me where I am (Jn 14:2-3). Jesus opened Heaven for all sons.
John 14:12 says, “Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.” When did this promise activate? When Jesus went to the Father in the first century. The greater works flow from the same source Jesus operated from—direct access to Father’s throne.
In Kingdom business, this means:
- The Council becomes your vine, not an occasional mystical experience
- Strategy comes from Father’s living words, not just market research
- Innovation flows from Council conversations where Father reveals solutions
- You operate from heaven’s perspective on your business, not earth’s limitations
This is where Kingdom business separates from Christian business. A Christian business owner prays for God to solve “all his” problems. A Kingdom business owner receives “Father’s” strategy in the Council, then implements it with prophetic authority on earth.
o
Reformation: The Job Description of Sons
Futurist theology postpones reformation to a future millennium when Jesus physically returns. Preterist theology reveals that reformation is the job description of sons operating from the Council now.
Psalm 2:8 says, “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.” This isn’t just for Jesus—it’s the inheritance of all sons. And the asking doesn’t happen on earth; it happens in the Council.
This is Father’s strategic purpose in sonship:
- Sonship establishes your identity as one who can approach the throne
- Ascension gives you access to the Council where strategies are revealed
- Reformation is your job description—the reason Father is speaking to you
In Kingdom business, this means:
- Your business isn’t just making money—it’s reforming your industry and blessing nations
- Profit isn’t the goal; reformation is. Profit is what Father adds when you seek the kingdom first
- Success isn’t measured only by revenue—it’s measured by cultural impact and breakthrough that couldn’t happen without Father’s involvement
- You’re not building a company—you’re establishing a beachhead of Reformation in the seven mountains

Kingdom Business: Where It All Comes Together
Kingdom business makes complete sense only when you understand this progression:
Without preterism:Â Business is secular work you do while waiting for Jesus to return and establish His kingdom (Occupy until I come). Your job is to make money, maybe give some away, and wait for “real ministry” to happen in heaven or the millennium.
With preterism:Â Business is sacred territory where sons manifest Father’s Reformation via Business. The Council is your headquarters. Reformation is your job. And supernatural results are normal because Father is free to add value to His purpose in your business.
This is why Kingdom business carries:
Miraculous provision that defies economic conditions
Divine appointments that create opportunities beyond networking
Prophetic authority that shifts atmospheres in boardrooms
Engaging Kingdom Culture is built around shared Kingdom Purpose (Ecclesia in Business!)
Angel armies released by Father’s decrees from the Courts and Council of Heaven
Innovation from turning Living Words from the Council into Greater works on Earth
When you operate from Council-derived strategy rather than human wisdom alone, Father adds the immeasurably more of Ephesians 3:20. Your business becomes a vehicle for sons to be fathered, for industries to be reformed, for Father’s culture to be established on earth as it is in heaven.

The Bottom Line
You can’t fully operate in Kingdom business while believing creation is still waiting for sons to be revealed. The cognitive dissonance keeps you tentative where you should be bold, passive where you should be active, waiting where you should be reforming.
Preterism releases you to live in the fullness of what Jesus purchased: You’re a son. The Council is open. Reformation is your job. And your business is one of the primary vehicles through which Father is manifesting His kingdom on earth.
The waiting ended at AD 70. The sons were revealed. The question isn’t whether you have authority—it’s whether you’ll use it. The progression is natural and inevitable: Preterism unlocks sonship. Sonship accesses ascension. Ascension produces reformation. And Kingdom business is where reformation happens in the seven mountains of culture.
All that remains is your decision to take your seat at the Council table and receive the strategy Father has been waiting to give you for your industry, your clients, and your sphere of influence.
The kingdom came. The Council opened. The job started. Will you build your business from that reality?

How Preterism Is the Natural Precursor to Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation
For years, I operated in the tension of believing I was a son of God while simultaneously waiting for sons to be revealed. I attended Council meetings while believing creation was still groaning. I declared reformation while postponing it to a future millennial kingdom. The cognitive dissonance was exhausting—until I understood preterism.
Preterism—the view that most or all biblical prophecy was fulfilled in the first century, particularly at the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70—isn’t just an academic theological position. It’s the key that unlocks the entire framework of Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation. Without it, you’re trying to live as a revealed son in a world you believe is still waiting for sons to be revealed. With it, everything clicks into place.
Here’s why preterism is the natural precursor to operating fully in your sonship identity and reformation calling.
The Problem: Futurism Keeps You Waiting
Traditional futurist eschatology—the view that most biblical prophecy is still unfulfilled and awaits a future second coming—creates an impossible spiritual tension for anyone trying to walk in sonship authority.
The futurist framework says:
- Creation is still groaning, waiting for sons to be revealed (Romans 8:19)
- Jesus hasn’t fully come in His kingdom yet (Matthew 16:28)
- The kingdom age hasn’t begun; we’re in a “church age” parenthesis
- True reformation comes in the millennium after Jesus returns physically
- Sons don’t have full authority yet; we’re waiting for it in the future
- The Council is either metaphorical or reserved for heaven later
- Greater works are reserved for the tribulation saints or millennial believers
This creates a devastating effect on your sonship:Â You believe you’re a son, but you’re still waiting to be revealed. You have authority in theory, but you’re postponing its exercise until better conditions. You’re called to reformation, but you’re waiting for Jesus to return and do it Himself. You can access the Council, but you wonder if it’s presumptuous since the kingdom hasn’t “really” come yet.
The result? Passive sons who talk about authority but don’t exercise it. Believers who discuss reformation but keep pushing it into the future. Business owners who sense Kingdom calling but can’t quite reconcile it with their theology. You end up living in the tension of “already but not yet” where the “not yet” keeps dominating the “already.”
The Preterist Solution: The Sons Have Already Been Revealed
Preterism resolves this tension completely by showing that the revealing happened in the first century. The waiting is over. The sons have been revealed. And we’re living in the post-revealing world where everything Jesus promised is now accessible.
What preterism establishes:
- The Old Covenant Ended at AD 70
When Jerusalem fell and the temple burned in AD 70, it wasn’t just a historical tragedy. It was the definitive end of the Old Covenant age. The system that kept people at arm’s length from Father—the priesthood, the temple, the sacrificial system, the Law of Moses—was removed permanently.
Hebrews 8:13 says, “By calling this covenant ‘new,’ he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.” When was this written? Before AD 70. The author was watching the Old Covenant age in its final moments. When the temple fell, creation’s bondage to that system ended.
This means: The barrier between you and Father isn’t just reduced—it’s obliterated. You’re not waiting for fuller access. You have complete access now.
- Creation’s Waiting Ended in Paul’s Generation
Romans 8:19-22 describes creation groaning and waiting for the sons of God to be revealed. But notice the timeframe: “the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time” (v. 22).
Present time—Paul’s present, not ours. The groaning had a deadline, and that deadline was the transition from the Old Covenant to the New. When the temple fell, the sons were fully revealed. Direct access to Father became universal for all believers. The waiting ended.
This means:Â Creation isn’t still waiting for you to step into sonship. Creation is waiting for you to wake up to the fact that you’ve already been revealed.
- Jesus Came in His Kingdom in the First Century
Matthew 16:28 records Jesus saying, “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”
Futurism has to spiritualize this or ignore it. Preterism takes Jesus at His word: He came in His kingdom in the judgment on Jerusalem within that generation. The “coming” wasn’t a physical return to earth—it was a coming in judgment and authority that established His kingdom definitively.
This means: The kingdom isn’t coming—it came. You’re not waiting for it to be established. You’re living in it, and your job is to manifest it on earth through reformation.
- The Greater Works Promise Activated Immediately
John 14:12 says, “Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.”
When did this promise activate? When Jesus went to the Father—which happened in the first century, not in our future. The greater works weren’t postponed to some future revival or millennial kingdom. They began immediately as sons accessed the throne room and brought heaven’s authority to earth.
This means:Â Greater works aren’t coming someday. They’re available now through Council access and co-laboring with Father.
How Preterism Unlocks Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation
Once you understand that the transition happened in AD 70, the entire framework of Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation becomes not just believable but obvious.
Sonship: You’re Already Revealed
Futurism says: Sons will be revealed in the future when Jesus returns. Preterism says: Sons were revealed when the Old Covenant ended. You’re living in the age of revealed sons.
This shifts everything about your identity. You’re not waiting to become a son. You’re not hoping to someday step into sonship authority. You are a revealed son now, with full access to Father, full authority in your sphere, and full inheritance of the nations Father has assigned to you.
The Courts of Heaven aren’t a future hope—they’re your current legal standing where accusations are removed. Your identity isn’t aspirational—it’s positional. You’re seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6) right now, not after you die or after Jesus returns.
Practical impact:
- You stop waiting for permission to operate as a son
- You stop questioning whether you really have authority
- You stop postponing obedience until you “feel ready”
- You start operating from the Council as your headquarters, not your distant dream
Ascension: The Council Is Open Now
Futurism says: Heaven is where you go when you die, or where you’ll reign with Jesus in the millennium. Preterism says: Heavenly places are accessible now through ascension into the Council.
Revelation 4:1 says, “Come up here.” This isn’t an invitation to a future generation—it’s an invitation to sons who understand the revealing has already happened and the Old Covenant barriers have been removed.
When Jesus ascended to the Father, He didn’t close the door behind Him. He opened it for all sons. The greater works He promised flow from the same source He operated from—direct access to Father’s throne, receiving living words in the Council, then bringing heaven’s Kingdom Culture to earth.
The Council is where:
- Father reveals His purposes for your business, city, and sphere of influence
- Jesus redeems your story and clarifies your calling
- The Seven Spirits give you strategy (Wisdom), tactics (Understanding), heritage (Counsel), courage (Might), clarity (Knowledge), and culture (Fear of the Lord)
- Living words are received that become living works when implemented on earth
Practical impact:
- Council sessions become your regular practice, not occasional mystical experiences
- You receive specific strategies for your business and calling
- You operate from heaven’s perspective, not earth’s limitations
- Your decisions are informed by what Father is saying in the Council, not just market conditions
Reformation: It’s Your Job Description Now
Futurism says: Reformation happens when Jesus returns to establish His millennial kingdom. Preterism says:n Reformation is the job description of revealed sons operating from the Council now.
Psalm 2:8 says, “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.” This isn’t a solo promise to Jesus—it’s the inheritance of all sons. And the asking doesn’t happen on earth; it happens in the Council.
The reformation of nations isn’t waiting for better conditions or a future dispensation. It’s happening right now through sons who:
- Access the Council routinely
- Receive Father’s strategies for their sphere
- Implement those strategies with prophetic authority
- See breakthrough in business, culture, and systems
This is Father’s strategic purpose in sonship:
- Sonship establishes your identity as one who can approach the throne
- Ascension gives you access to the Council where strategies are revealed
- Reformation is your job description—the reason Father is speaking to you
Practical impact:
- Your business becomes a vehicle for cultural transformation, not just revenue
- You see yourself as a reformer in the seven mountains, not just a believer with a job
- You expect breakthrough because you’re operating from Father’s strategies, not your own wisdom
- You build Kingdom businesses that carry supernatural results because Father adds what only He can add
The Progression Makes Sense Only with Preterism
The seven-step progression to sonship—from awakening to reformation—only makes complete sense when you understand the preterist foundation:
Step 1: Awakening — You hunger for more because you sense there’s authority available that most believers aren’t accessing.
Step 2: Experience — You actually encounter the Council and realize it’s not future or metaphorical—it’s accessible now.
Step 3: Discipline — You make Council sessions routine because you understand this is your headquarters as a revealed son.
Step 4: Multiplication — Father starts adding to your business because you’re operating from His strategies, not just human wisdom.
Step 5: Commission — You bring others into sonship because you understand the revealing has happened and everyone can access what you’ve found.
Step 6: Maturity — You operate as prophet (seeing purpose), priest (helping others connect), and king (seeing fruit) because the kingdom has come and you’re manifesting it.
Step 7: Reformation — You see tangible contribution to cultural transformation because reformation is the job of revealed sons, not a future hope.
Without preterism, this progression stalls. You can’t fully commit to Council access if you think heaven’s throne room is closed until Jesus returns. You can’t operate in reformation authority if you’re waiting for Him to come back and do it Himself. You can’t live as a revealed son if you believe creation is still waiting for sons to be revealed.
The New Jerusalem Descends Through Sons in the Council
Revelation 21:2 says John saw “the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.” Futurism reads this as a future event after the millennium. Preterism reads it as an ongoing reality.
The New Jerusalem isn’t a literal city that lands on earth someday. It’s the marriage of heaven and earth that happens every time sons ascend into the Council, receive Father’s living words, and bring heaven’s Culture to earth.
Here’s how it works:
- Sons ascend into heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6, Revelation 4:1)
- They sit at Father’s table in the Council
- They receive strategies, decrees, and prophetic authority
- They descend with those living words
- They implement them on earth through Kingdom business and cultural influence
- Heaven’s culture, authority, and presence manifest through them
- This is the New Jerusalem descending
Wherever sons build Kingdom businesses from Council conversations, the New Jerusalem descends. Wherever apostolic fathers mentor other sons into identity and purpose, the New Jerusalem descends. Wherever prophetic authority shifts atmospheres and establishes Father’s culture, the New Jerusalem descends.
This isn’t architectural—it’s covenantal. It’s the ongoing reality of revealed sons bringing heaven to earth.
Why This Matters for Kingdom Business
Kingdom business makes complete sense only in a preterist framework. If you’re still waiting for the kingdom to come, business is at best a necessary evil to fund “real ministry.” If you believe reformation happens in a future millennium, your business is just making money until Jesus returns to fix everything.
But if the kingdom came in the first century, if sons have been revealed, if the Council is open now, and if reformation is your job description—then Kingdom business is one of the primary vehicles for cultural transformation.
In a preterist framework:
- Your business isn’t secular—it’s sacred territory where Father’s presence manifests
- Profit isn’t the goal—reformation is, and profit is what Father adds (Matthew 6:33)
- Innovation doesn’t come from market research—it comes from Council conversations where Father reveals solutions
- Success isn’t measured only by revenue—it’s measured by cultural impact and breakthrough that couldn’t happen without Father’s involvement
- You’re not building a company—you’re establishing a beachhead of heaven’s culture in your industry
This is why Shane at RISE Wealth Strategies and Tonya at OneFlight can operate the way they do. They’re not trying to be “Christian business owners” who occasionally pray about decisions. They’re revealed sons operating from the Council, receiving Father’s strategies, and reforming their spheres of influence with supernatural results.
The Logical Flow
The progression is simple and inevitable:
- Preterism establishes that the transition happened in AD 70
- Old Covenant ended
- Sons were revealed
- Kingdom came
- Access opened
- Sonship becomes your present reality, not future hope
- You’re a revealed son now
- You have full authority now
- Your inheritance is available now
- The Courts remove accusations now
- Ascension becomes your regular practice, not distant dream
- The Council is open now
- “Come up here” is for you now
- Living words flow now
- Father’s strategies are accessible now
- Reformation becomes your job description, not future event
- Nations are your inheritance now
- Cultural transformation is your calling now
- Kingdom business carries Father’s authority now
- The New Jerusalem descends through you now
Without step 1, steps 2-4 remain theoretical. With step 1, steps 2-4 become inevitable.
The Question Isn’t “Is Preterism True?”—It’s “Can You Operate Fully Without It?”
You can believe in sonship without preterism. You can talk about Council access without preterism. You can discuss reformation without preterism. But can you operate fully in them?
Can you truly live as a revealed son while believing creation is still waiting for sons to be revealed?
Can you regularly access the Council while believing the kingdom age hasn’t really started yet?
Can you pursue reformation while postponing it to a future millennium?
The cognitive dissonance becomes unbearable. You end up with authority you’re afraid to use, access you’re hesitant to claim, and a calling you keep pushing into the future.
Preterism resolves the tension by showing you that:
- The waiting is over
- The revealing happened
- The kingdom came
- The access opened
- The job began
You’re not waiting for sonship—you’re living in it. You’re not hoping for Council access—you have it. You’re not dreaming about reformation—you’re doing it.
What This Means for You
If you’ve been operating in the tension of believing you’re a son while waiting for sons to be revealed, preterism is the key that unlocks your full identity and authority.
If you’ve been accessing the Council but wondering if it’s presumptuous because the kingdom hasn’t “really” come yet, preterism confirms that the Council is your headquarters, not your aspiration.
If you’ve been sensing a call to reformation but postponing it until Jesus returns to establish His kingdom, preterism reveals that reformation is your job description now.
The progression is natural:
- Understand preterism → Sons were revealed in AD 70
- Embrace sonship → You’re a revealed son with full authority
- Practice ascension → The Council is your regular headquarters
- Pursue reformation → Nations are your inheritance to reform
This isn’t adding complexity to your theology. It’s removing the barriers that have kept you from operating in the fullness of what Jesus purchased and Father intended.
All creation is no longer waiting for sons to be revealed. Creation is waiting for sons to wake up to the fact that they’ve already been revealed, access the Council where Father is speaking, receive the living words He has for their sphere of influence, and co-labor with Him to reform the nations He’s assigned to them.
Preterism isn’t just a theological position. It’s the foundation that makes Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation not just believable, but inevitable.
The question isn’t whether preterism is true. The question is: Now that you understand the sons have been revealed and the Council is open, will you take your seat at the table and receive your assignment?
The waiting is over. The bondage is broken. The sons are revealed. The Council is open. And the reformation of nations is already in motion through those who’ve awakened to this truth.
All that remains is your response.
