While theology tells us we became sons at salvation, the practical reality of sonship begins when we ascend to the Council and hear Living Words from Father, Jesus, and the Seven Spirits. Discipleship is about experiences of the heart; religion is about information in your head. The Story of Sonship unfolds in three distinct stages: Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation. Each stage is marked not by information gained but by heart encounters that transform serfs and servants into Sons who can change the world. Here’s how.

Sonship: The Experience of Being Chosen for Purpose
As a natural son raised on a ranch, Dad invited me to go with him at six. A few years later, he wanted to me to help, and a few years after that, he needed me to go with him. It felt good to be included and it shaped my identity. I welcomed his instruction and he was a great teacher. Sonship starts with the same progression. Father loves His sons and daughters and shows them all he does (Jn 5:20). Co-laboring with Father is fun!
The journey of Sonship starts with taking up our cross and following Jesus. Sons do experience deaths of their old ways and resurrections into the new. We all start as orphans; believers who know about God but struggle to hear from Him and go with Him. We’ve been trained in the rules and information of men (religion) and we’ve usually settled into what could be called “sanctified self-reliance.” We’ve learned to copy others, following people instead of the Lamb. But everything shifts when we experience being chosen for the unique purpose Father has for us and deciding to follow.
Sonship is not a theological position to defend; it’s an identity to inhabit. When Father reveals your Identity, Story, and Purpose, everything changes from flawed to flowing, from sinking ships to sonship. This isn’t about getting saved; it’s about functioning as a son. As Paul reminds us, an heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything.
The doorway into Sonship is always an experience of the heart. It’s the feeling of being chosen, appointed, invited into something greater than yourself. Your prophetic purpose is like DNA; it shapes your unique future and releases your measure of faith, creativity, and innovation that God wired into your heart. When you discover your Kingdom Purpose, you stop competing and copying. You begin to run your own race, the one Father laid out for you (Heb 12:1).
Authenticity – This transformation liberates you from the chains of servanthood, the exhausting treadmill of pretense to fulfill someone else’s calling. Sonship means redeeming your past and leveraging it for the future. It means participation in Father’s strategy and tactics in your own skin. Most importantly, it means having conversations with Father rather than following a religious script.

Ascension: The Experience of Hearing Living Words
While intellectual and Biblical understanding of heavenly realities matters, it pales in comparison to actually ascending to the Courts and Council. We learn by doing! This is the progression from information to transformation, from breadcrumb promptings to conversations. Ascension is practical, empowering, and inviting. None of us fully understand until we go.
Accusations – In the Courts of Heaven, we encounter accusations. But rather than arguing or defending ourselves, we simply agree with them, plead guilty, and ask Jesus, our advocate, to take them to the cross. When an accusation is revealed, we plead guilty and ask Jesus to take it, cover it, and remove it. This isn’t human reasoning; it’s removing the enemy’s legal basis to accuse us. We ask the Lord to show us roots, what caused the open door, even generational covenants and patterns of iniquity. And we take that to the cross too. Decrees – When accusations and roots have been dealt with, Father fills the void with prophetic decrees we can use to move forward. These Living Words are from conversations around strategy, tactics, and heritage.
In the Council, we are hearing Father, Jesus, and the Seven Spirits. These aren’t vague promptings. They are conversations about our Identity, Story, Purpose, Strategy, Tactics, Heritage, Courage, Clarity, and Culture that we have routinely in God’s Council.
Spiritual Agility – Ascension makes us spiritually agile on Earth. We learn what it means to follow the Lamb whose manna and mercies are new every day. This isn’t mysticism; it’s an assignment for sons, it’s our seat in Heaven, and it’s the place in the Spirit where Kingdom Business strategies originate.

Reformation: Co-Laboring to Bring Heaven to Earth
Reformation is sons bring Living Words to earth as Greater Works. It’s the thrill of heroism, the opportunity to possess your land (your business heritage) and to see what Father can do through you as His son or daughter. This is about exploits; immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to His power at work within us(Eph 3:20).
The goal of Reformation of Nations on Earth is clear:
- It happens through sons, not sermons,
- Reformation is movement, not just a microphone ministry,
- It’s the contrast between Intentional Reformation and intellectual information.
When you have clear, strategic purpose and tactics from the Council, it comes with prophetic authority, you receive supernatural assists from Father for greater works in life and business. Even the demons become subject to us in Jesus’ Name (Lu 10:17).
Reformation is sons bringing Living Words to life in People, Businesses, Cities, and Nations. It’s the experience of being before God in Zion (the Council), seeing what people carry, activating the Ecclesia around shared Kingdom purpose in business. It’s the heroism of overcoming, being more than conquerors. Giants become food for us because we’re operating in Father’s power, not human potential.
This stage is experiencing Courage, Clarity, and Culture. Courage believes Father’s redemption of Earth comes through sons with purpose, the very sons all creation has been waiting for. It demands clarity, articulating where you’re going and why, turning strategy into tactics, vision into implementation. And it creates culture, teaching people to have the experiences first, then tell the story of what Father did through me.
The Story of Sonship is a progression: Take up your cross and follow Him through deaths and resurrections as you’re being chosen for purpose and becoming skilled at spiritual warfare. Sons are proficient in Heavens Courts and Council and spiritually agile on Earth. Then bring Living Words to life, co-laboring with Father to see His Kingdom come, His will now being done on Earth as it is in Heaven… by you!
This isn’t theory. It’s an invitation. It all starts in the Council.
