Our unfulfilled desires, dreams, and ambitions are strategic targets for marketers. Satan tempted Jesus in specific areas in Mt 4. He will come knocking on your door with similar offers in the areas of your vulnerability. How does it work?

Pro 13:12 – Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Your unfulfilled expectations are a root of bitterness coupled with an emotion of sorrow, resentment, and the perception of lack (Poverty). Marketers are skilled in touching those desires and emotions and attaching them to the promise of their offering. They leverage your brokenness to make a sale that offers the false hope of healing your wounds and remolding your identity.

We’ve all been there, felt the rush to try something new only to find out it’s one more disappointment. You can see the weaponization of this marketing tactic in politics, religion, marketing, education, and career promises (see graphic).

Key question – Can I be leveraged by unfulfilled desires?

Kingdom marketing offers a trade for something better—Father’s purpose for you. Exposure to this offer is a prophetic experience with Living Words because the Holy Spirit is the “comforter and convincer!” When we choose our Kingdom purpose we tap our authentic Identity as a son or daughter with a unique Story, and Purpose. That’s what’s healing—we’re trading the wounding of past disappointments for a bright future and membership in God’s family of sons and daughters (Identity), an Ecclesia bringing Heaven to Earth in business (Purpose). Our perception of lack, real or imagined, is traded for the resources of Heaven to accomplish our Father’s purpose, now ours as well.

Key question – Have I said “yes” to everything Father has for me?

Diagnostic – Check The Marketing Approach with ChatGPT

Exercise – You can check out any commercial or political offer (including your own) on ChatGPT with the following scripts:

#1).  For the Freud/Bernays technique on ChatGPT with the following question.

How does _____________’s offer fit this script: The genius of Freud & Bernays: Weaponize the unconscious in Marketing (From Compromise to Coercion). Instead of selling a product or policy on its actual merits, they learned to:

  1. Awaken an unconscious emotion.
  2. Attach that emotion to a symbolic object or idea.
  3. Sell the object/idea as the cure — when in reality, the transaction benefits the seller, not the buyer
#2).  Or you can check the Level of Kingdom marketing with the following question:

Evaluate whether (or how) ____________’s offer demonstrates the three ingredients of Kingdom Marketing:

  1. Awakens Kingdom Purpose in sons & daughters.
  2. Points to prophetic purpose first (before features/benefits).
  3. Brings value from Heaven to Earth via authentic co-laboring.

Does the offer fulfill these criteria, partially fulfill them, or miss them altogether?
(process without purpose is a starvation diet for serfs)
Use the Book Sonship, Ascension, and Reformation by John Garfield as a resource.

#3).  Add this Rubric to your question to score the results and compare multiple offers in one table:

📊 Kingdom Marketing Alignment Rubric

Scale for each step:

  • 0 = No alignment (contradicts Kingdom Marketing)
  • 1 = Minimal alignment (mostly secular/psychological manipulation)
  • 2 = Partial alignment (some Kingdom resonance, but not central)
  • 3 = Clear alignment (Kingdom principle present and noticeable)
  • 4 = Strong alignment (deep integration of Kingdom principle)
  • 5 = Full alignment (driven by Kingdom purpose, exemplary)

Step 1 – Awakens Kingdom Purpose

Definition: Does the offer awaken identity, calling, and purpose in hearts (Ps 37:4, Jn 5:19)? Or does it just awaken unconscious desires, fears, or pain points (Freud/Bernays)?

Assessment:

  • 0–1: Appeals mainly to fear, greed, or status.
  • 2–3: Mix of personal aspiration + deeper calling.
  • 4–5: Clearly awakens God-given purpose, identity, and sonship.

Step 2 – Points to Prophetic Purpose First

Definition: Does the marketing point to God’s living words (what Father is saying and doing), before listing features/benefits?

Assessment:

  • 0–1: Focuses only on features, benefits, ROI, or hacks.
  • 2–3: Hints at higher vision, but not central.
  • 4–5: Prophetic purpose and Kingdom framing lead the offer.

Step 3 – Brings Value from Heaven to Earth via Co-Laboring

Definition: Does the offer co-labor with Father’s heart to release value from Heaven to Earth (authentic story, prophetic resonance, transformation)?

Assessment:

  • 0–1: Transactional, manipulative, seller-benefit oriented.
  • 2–3: Offers some genuine transformation, mixed with manipulation.
  • 4–5: Fully values people as sons, brings authentic heavenly solutions, co-labors in reformation.

🔎 Example Summary Table

Step Score (0–5) Notes
Awakens Kingdom Purpose
Points to Prophetic Purpose
Brings Heavenly Value
Total (0–15)

Interpretation:

  • 0–5 → Freud/Bernays territory (manipulation).
  • 6–10 → Hybrid / Transitional (some Kingdom sparks, but not central).
  • 11–15 → Kingdom Marketing (prophetic, purpose-driven, heaven-to-earth).
