Money is not the metric of real Wealth, Its purpose.

🔥 True riches include those stored as treasures in Heaven (Mt 6:20).

🔥 The most important KPI is doing What Father is doing (Jn 5:19).

Entrepreneurial sons and daughters in the business mountain have a love language that wants to be chosen to co-labor with their Father and hear Well Done when they get it right. We’re all designed to be sons and daughters who love doing what the Father does; it’s already written in the desires of our heart. When we realize that our deepest dreams and yearnings can be the same as our Father’s, they start coming true. We inherit a certain authority in sonship to make them come true. The freedom of knowing Father’s purpose is evident in sons by their courageous initiative, creativity, and enthusiasm.

Ps 37:4 – Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. NIV

Real Christianity is not resignation to religion’s rules, rigors, & doctrines. It’s sons co-laboring with Father.

Real business isn’t just the hamster wheel of performance and profit. It’s Purpose, Passion, and People!

Sonship is all about becoming yourself, a prophetic track to the story in your Hero’s Journey to Purpose.

Business Brand Impacts – How does purpose impact my business brand? If my business is built around “self” (me setting self-indulgent goals around making money, gaining traction and visibility, or leveraging relationships), it can become unimaginative and impersonal corporatism… cold, futile, fruitless, and meaningless. These are typically the “wrong questions” that put us on the wrong foundations

• What’s “your” purpose and promise?
• What’s “your” vision and dream?
• What are “your” aspirations and affirmations?
• What’s “your” level of commitment?

Conversely, if my business is built around Father’s higher purpose and honors the purpose of staff, customers, and clients, it’s like perfume: the fragrance of Jesus. People are drawn to Kingdom Purpose. They will help you, buy from you, and tell their friends about you. Our secret sauce is that it’s not just “you, or your acumen for business” it’s your Kingdom Purpose, your Father’s Kingdom Purpose! It’s a business that engages hearts with a role in a Reformation that brings Heaven to Earth to bless Nations.

How Do I Open The Gates of Heaven?

Ps 24:6 – Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.
7)  Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
8)  Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

We Sons are the Gates that let the King of Glory into our business. That’s one of the primary spiritual jobs of sons and daughters in a Kingdom Business. When God is present in our initiative and we’re sharing His purpose, He co-labors with us to build it. In other words, God Himself starts shouldering part of the load when we put His Kingdom first. He starts adding things we need!

Mt 6:30 – But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven,
will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31)   Therefore do not be anxious, saying,
‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32)  For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
33)  But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34)  Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself.
Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Whoever said life is a journey not a destination was half off; life and business are built on meaningful purpose that is leading somewhere important and it does bear fruit. The journey and arrival at destiny are both fun! Kingdom purpose is not a cosmic carrot that God dangles in front of us knowing we can never reach it. We can finish our course and hear well done! Our work makes a difference and gets results. We do not live on the hamster wheel of endless process. Life is building His Kingdom, not recycling our karma.

We wrote about the Hero’s Journey in a prior blog that summarizes the Joseph Campbell contribution (graphic below). I’m currently reading Story Driven by Bernadette Jiwa. It’s a secular book, but understanding your story is in the context of Kingdom purpose makes it come alive. Recommend it!

Bottom line – you and everyone you talk to is somewhere on a hero’s journey that includes valleys and victories, deaths and resurrections. Knowing where their heart is a key to knowing them, hearing them.
