Sons who ascend to the Council see what Father is doing and where it will lead, the intention in Father’s heart. As sons, we share Jesus’ role in going before others in awakening, intercession, and leadership on earth. Part of our role is going before others to prepare a place for them in the Kingdom. It’s not literal time travel, but it is prophetically seeing and experiencing the future so that others can find their place (their house, land) in Father’s purpose. The revelation of Kingdom purpose in the Council is a basis for intercession in the Courts of Heaven.

Jn 10:4 – he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice (G5456, phone)

Jn 14:3 – And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Heb 7:21– but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him:
“The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: ‘You are a priest forever.'” (Ps 110:4)
25)   because he always lives to intercede for them.

Going before – is not goal setting, adjusting our mindset, or being the visionary leader. Nor is it the Law of attraction. Those are cheap, self-indulgent imitations. Authenticity is seeing what Father is doing in Heaven, and co-laboring with Him on earth to make it a reality. Many will run toward the new and others are captives who need to be set free. What is the new? In the broad sense it’s Reformation and sonship.

  • Father is building His Kingdom, working all things together for good (Rom 8:28).
  • He is using sonship to do it
    • The Courts of Heaven and Council are not optional.
  • We are called to pioneer this aspect of Kingdom.
    • Father is adding all these things (Mt 6:33).
    • Yet it’s not a blank check for you to go crazy.
    • You are co-laboring (Asking for whatever you need in Jesus’ Name).
      • From strength to strength (Ps 84:7)
      • From glory to glory (2Cor 3:18)
    • There is both creativity/initiative from you, and trust for what Father adds

Planning or Praying – How much initiative should I take? How much does Kingdom progress rest on my goal setting, my plans, and my desires?

Interesting things happen when Father does show us things to come. We start to run with the ball and failure, rejection, or delay feel like personal defeats; victories, fruit and multiplication feel like personal achievements. We’re tempted to become fire and brimstone preachers enforcing God’s objectives, accidental pharisees imposing the letter instead of the Spirit.

Seeing the new implies experiencing it ourselves. Even though we can see where things are going, we are still following the lamb wherever. Jesus said, follow me and I will make you _________ (create you, transform you). Our identity flows from agility and humility; our willingness to follow the cloud. Father’s mercies, manna, and direction are new every day. Even if we know what Father wants and where it’s all going, we’re still having conversations in the Council about how to make it happen. Our identity as sons flows from our purpose and our faithfulness to co-labor in those living words from the Council.

Here’s why – Sons are carrying the will of God, while people still carry their own free will and have a choice to make. Some say yes, others no, and still others, not yet. Our identity can’t be tied to those responses, only our intercession for them changes. Mid-course corrections are a big theme of discussion in the Council because spiritual warfare is real, people are still free to choose, and sonship is an all-volunteer army.

Consequences – Going ahead via intercession and love for people is a big deal because Father’s RSVPs to engage in the Kingdom are a big deal with some real ramifications:

  • The RSVP comes as a Living Word that brings life. When it’s rejected it becomes the letter.
  • We suffer hearing loss, and future invitations are diminished.
  • We open a door for the religious spirit to keep driving the bus.

On the positive side, saying Yes Lord, here am I send me to the RSVP has some serious benefits:

  • When we hear Living words and do them, they bear fruit that feeds our heart.

Jn 4:32 – But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”
34)
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

  • When sons co-labor with their Father it’s fun and fulfilling to hear Him say Well done!
  • Setting people free to engage in the desires God wrote in their heart is its own reward.

When you get tired of Rejection – When you choose the heroic and prophetic role of going before people to unlock their exciting future in God’s Kingdom, it can be deflating when they politely refuse and start dodging communication. Father is grieved as well. Visiting their prophetic future feels true and exciting, but your words return void, and you feel unheard. You begin to wonder if sowing this prophetic reality is worth it!

Gal 6:7 – Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
8)  Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction;
whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
9)
Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

This assignment is not easy. Prophetic voices are famous for being heard or unheard. It can easily become an accusation from the enemy, a candidate for the courts of heaven:

Accusations – to be taken to the cross:

    • I am a sounding brass, a clanging cymbal that no one wants to hear.
    • People aren’t ready, receptive, the time is not yet.
    • They belong to the Religious Spirit and will never change.

Decrees – from Father release in the Courts of Heaven.

    1. The fields are white unto harvest; sons are ready to run, ascend.
    2. The deaf captives can hear Father’s invitation to champion the new.
    3. Eyes are opening; the lightening of revelation will strike and start a fire of Reformation.
(John, now prophesy these decrees on earth)

Enthusiasm – Comes from in theo or in God. Staying on top of your game and identity flows from following the lamb wherever (Rev 14:4) and doing what Father does (Jn 5:19). There really is warfare in the Kingdom. You really will need times of refreshing in the Council. Father is always working. He is always inviting us to come with Him. There is always an answer, you just have to know where to find it.

Ascending to Father’s Courts and Council, and regular conversations in the Council with Father, Jesus, and the 7 Spirits of God is the definition of sons and daughters being in Christ. The fruit is enthusiasm, through the fellowship of His sufferings, or reigning with Him from your seat in Heaven. Kingdom leadership in business sons begins in the Council with conversations. It’s how others will hear your phone on earth; how God will hear your phone in Heaven (Jn 10:4).

  • Jn 1:51 – “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels (messengers, sons)
of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.”
  • Isa 11:2 – The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD.
And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear
  • Rev 1:4 – Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come,
and from the seven spirits before his throne
  • Rev 3:1 – These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God
  • Rev 4:5 – In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.
  • Rev 5:6 – The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes,
which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

Axiom – Have fun, make money, love people, and build the Kingdom!

Cutting Room Floor

Q – Lord, how much do we know and plan vs. how much do we follow and trust?

A – How much do you know? Humility is a prerequisite for the Council.

James 4:13 – Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city,
spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”
14)     Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life?

You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
15)     Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”
16)     As it is, you boast
in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil

Pro 27:1 – Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

Mt 6:33 – But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.
34)
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Lu 12:19 – And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years.
Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.“‘
20)
But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you.
Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’
21)
This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.
