Money/Wealth is the earthy currency for Value (Kingdom and Commerce)
Money is not the metric for Wealth (Its purpose)

Wealth Creation (Deut 8:18) – I create value others want to buy because they benefit from it.
(The value I create helps them fulfill their purpose!)

  • Passive Income – I’ve automated/systematized value creation, and I’m responsible for its production
(I make payroll, manage business, have a team, and multiply value)
  • Apostolic Fathering – My value is showing sons how to create their value = fulfill their purpose.
  • Treasure in Heaven (Mt 6:19-21) – a business strategy to create eternal/infinite value
(That works without me, after me. A worthwhile purpose should logically outlive me.)

Summary –  I enrich and empower others; I can be rich or poor (Phil 4:12-13)

Sons experience both promotion/visibility and death, resurrection & discipline.

Contrast Creating Value with Wealth Transfer (Purpose vs. no Purpose)
Without Kingdom Purpose, the Default Business Purpose is Always Money

Wealth Transfer – Others create value for me

Historically, the divine right of kings & priests = Impose Taxes & Tithes on serfs
Doctrinally, the divine right of believers to inherit wealth (susceptible to fraud)
(Competition for spiritual windfalls, prosperity gospel, Wealth as evidence of God’s favor)

  • Banking Class – Serfs create value for me (Usury, Federal Reserve, Cabal structure)
  • Ruling Class – Management (overhead) and Politicians (taxation) who enforce control.
(Set their own income levels via edict, policy, procedures, or legislation)
  • Victim Class – Others owe me wealth = the ‘serf’ mentality of poverty

Summary – I Enlist, Impoverish, and Isolate others for my gain.

The Glorious Liberty of Sons (Starts with Purpose)

Advertising copy is designed to resonate with things people already want. Products are linked to existing appetites with tempting promises! You have heard that people want money, sex, and power, or fame, fortune, and good looks. Those are two different renditions of the same thing that are not entirely carnal:

  • Freedom – We all would like enough money to do something we enjoy, travel when we want to, and not be chained to a job we loathe.
  • Relationships – We all want to be chosen, loved, have friends, and romance… including healthy sex.
  • Fame – We all want to be appreciated and celebrated for who we are and what we contribute.

Typically, we think of happiness as having roots in unrestrained freedom to do anything we want. Yet, we have all seen the rich and famous burn through money, marriages, and meth and live miserable lives. We have the same fear of our carnal appetites! Things we thought would make us happy haven’t worked out (Pro 14:12). God wants to help us inherit the joy that our hearts desire!

Glorious Liberty of Sons – Jesus was the first-born son who is our example of doing what the Father does. That’s the simple formula for your freedom. We are God’s creation, and we’re all waiting for an example from our peers who get sonship right!

Rom 8:19All creation waits for the revealing of the sons of God
20 – For the creation was subjected to futility (Lack of purpose)
not willingly, but because of him who subjected it in hope
21 – Creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay
and brought into the Glorious Freedom of the sons of God

The freedom of sonship starts with engaging Father’s purpose, and it naturally expresses itself in Glory (visibility) and unrestrained freedom that comes with Kingdom Purpose. Our carnal appetites don’t lead anywhere because they don’t connect to any credible purpose beyond self. When sons and daughters connect with God’s purpose, they find their identity, the power to make that purpose materialize, and the team of people who share the dream and help make it come true.

The Lion and the Bear – David dispatched Goliath and became a household name in Israel. But before that, he was a lonely shepherd who killed the lion of rejection and the bear of obscurity in his personal life. Sons and daughters in the Kingdom have killed the lion (rejection) and the bear (obscurity).

Rom 8:2through Christ the law of the Spirit who gives life
has set you free from the law of sin (purposeless) and death (obscurity)

Purpose – How do we deal with rejection and obscurity? We simply hear the Father’s voice, see what He is doing, and do it with him (engage in His purpose). Co-laboring with Father is its own reward. Suddenly, nothing else matters, and when it doesn’t matter, doing Father’s purpose leads to visibility, prosperity, and love. Kingdom Purpose is all about pulling people into the heroism (Glory) of their purpose (freedom). The first baby step is hearing and doing.

  • Glory – Visibility (vs. the obscurity of the hibernating bear)
  • Freedom – Father’s purpose (vs. the rejection of the lion)

Entrepreneurial people in the business mountain have a love language that wants to be chosen to co-labor with their Father and hear Well Done when they get it right. We’re all designed to be sons and daughters who love doing what the Father does; it’s already written in the desires of our heart. When we realize that our deepest dreams and yearnings are the same as our Father’s, they start coming true. We inherit a certain authority in sonship to make them come true. The freedom of knowing Father’s purpose is evident in sons by their courageous initiative, creativity, and enthusiasm.

Ps 37:4Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. NIV

Real Christianity is not making yourself subscribe to religion’s rules, traditions, and doctrines. It’s all about becoming yourself and getting on a prophetic track to Glory and Freedom; Heroism and Purpose.

Business Brand Impacts – How does purpose impact my business brand? If my business is built around “self” (me making money, gaining visibility, or leveraging relationships), it stinks in a way that everyone can smell; it’s repulsive, futile, and meaningless!

Conversely, if my business is built around a higher purpose and honors the purpose of staff, customers, and clients, it’s like perfume: the fragrance of Jesus. People are drawn to Kingdom Purpose. They will help you, buy from you, and tell their friends about you. Our secret sauce is that it’s not just “you,” it’s your Kingdom Purpose, your Father’s Kingdom Purpose! It’s a business that engages hearts with a role in Reformation.

Purpose Profiles – We help businesses transition to the joy and prosperity of a Kingdom business culture by leveraging your unique purpose to ignite your staff and customers. The fun begins when you discover the why God wrote in your heart. We marry the cultural and practical side of sound business practices. Cash flow comes from a well-motivated, engaged staff and a wisely managed, value-based business built on a Kingdom purpose already written in hearts. We have the coaching resources to help you shift the culture and respond to the challenges. The starting place is a Purpose Profile (see examples).
