The Gospel of Salvation – We all have roots in the gospel of salvation; Jesus died for our sins and, if we accept his sacrifice and ask his forgiveness, we can be saved. People in desperate straits are indeed forgiven and heaven is their destination. When we translate this gospel in terms of life purpose – Our aim should be to preach this gospel to the ends of the earth such that planting churches and making disciples should be everyone’s highest purpose. I think that’s a fair depiction of “evangelical.” Charismatic believers might add that the receiving of the Holy Spirit and signs and wonders should accompany this evangelistic purpose.

The Gospel of the Kingdom – Jesus did not just die for our sins. He rose from the dead and is enthroned with the Father as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is not just saving people out of the earth and into heaven. His purpose is to fill the earth with His glory and to disciple nations. The gospel of the Kingdom impacts the seven mountains of culture and it makes disciples of nations, not just individuals.

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. Ps 2:6 NIV

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations Matt 28:19 NIV

The gospel of salvation emphasizes preaching, evangelism, discipleship and church planting. It’s very good and worthwhile to see the lost saved. It’s just not everything the Father is doing in the Kingdom. The gospel of the Kingdom is an invitation for people in business, education, the arts, entertainment, media and government to play a role in establishing his Kingdom on earth. Not all of us are preaching evangelists! In fact, the USA is a good example of people who have been worn out on preaching. Evangelists decry the decay and corruption in our nation without realizing that they are not really preaching the gospel of the Kingdom. In fact, this gospel is better lived than preached. If our message is that our only purpose is preaching the gospel and seeing sinners saved, that message actually can take people out of their hearts. Instead of real purpose they can adopt at a heart level, it becomes a rule that we try to obey in opposition to our own hearts.

Reaching nations – Right now doors are being opened for mighty men and women of God to follow the desires God placed in their hearts and to play a Kingdom role in our culture… as Godly business men and women, anointed entertainers, insightful journalists, wise politicians, and educators who can release the hearts of the young instead of saddling them with more rules, standards, and obligations. It’s already happening.

Spiritual maturity is not defined by obedience, preaching and meetings alone. It is also seen in anointed creativity… curing cancer, finding a solution for the national debt, or solving poverty with entrepreneurial opportunity. It’s already happening.

What if journalists used a prophetic anointing to shine a light on fresh, new ideas and the people who gave birth to them? What if that same light was used to expose the hidden works of darkness and evil regimes? What if the media and internet made it impossible to deceive the nations? I would count that as the will of God! It’s already happening.

What if politicians really operated in the wisdom of Solomon leading nations around the world? What if they offered liberty, freedom, and prosperity instead of the foolishness of communism, socialism, and dictatorial regimes? It’s already happening.

What if entertainers and artists touched the theme and the sound currently on the heart of the Holy Spirit in a way that transformed the hearts of people even if they weren’t saved? What if they did receive salvation at those concerts and in those theaters? It’s already happening.

Where it starts – It’s not hard to expand this list and dream of every good thing that could be done in our culture by believers who gave themselves permission to pursue the desires of their hearts. It all begins when you and I believe that God might actually want our dream to come true. Your initiative and creativity and ingenuity probably express the very heart of God. He was the one who created you the way you are for a good reason. It’s not hard to connect the dots between your own heart’s desires and the will of God – if you try. We’ve found coaching and the Heart Plan to be the easiest way to make that connection.

It’s already started – The more people I coach, the more I see an amazing blueprint for the Kingdom of God already mapped into His people. We just have to release a few kings, and this jailbreak will really get off the ground, and “nations” will worship as a result. The Gospel of salvation isn’t going to get us there. We have to become a little more Biblical and “live” the gospel of the Kingdom. People all over the world are very hungry for Jesus and to find their own purpose, and to play a role in building His Kingdom; doing what the Father is doing. We’re here to change the culture and disciple nations, not just win souls and plant churches. We’re wired to operate out of our hearts and see dreams come true even if it takes a few signs and wonders to get there. That’s exactly the anointing we have in this hour. He is the King of kings and he’s inviting us to reign with Him as “kings” in this earth to establish a Kingdom that sets the captives free.

“This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Heb 10:16 NIV

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant- — not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Cor 3:6 NIV

Want to know one more secret? The concept of getting connected with your own heart and playing a role in the Kingdom is very evangelistic! People are hungry for the gospel of the Kingdom.
