In my travels to, and prayer for, Europe over the last several years I’ve seen the spiritual influence of serfdom and wrote about it, From Serfs to Surplus. That generational pull is also present in America and causes us to surrender our freedom for ideologies like socialism and communism. God is in the process of setting captives free and dealing with the spirit behind it.
Cyrus – Johnny Enlow recently summarized the Cyrus anointing on President Trump that Lance Wallnau originated.
The assignment is laid out in Isaiah 45:1-8. The chapter starts with “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut.”
In this passage, the Lord says things like, “I will go before you,” “I will break in pieces the gates of bronze,” “I will gird you though you have not known Me,” and “I, the Lord, do all these things.” There is a clear empowering by the Lord—not contingent on Cyrus’s own holiness, nor the people of God’s prayer cover. There is a straight “God is intervening at His own discretion” element to it all. It was clear both in the preliminary prophecy by Isaiah and then confirmed by Cyrus’s subsequent success in all matters prophesied. So I believe that President Trump has been given a “Cyrus mandate” for our day, and Isaiah 45 gives us quite a bit of insight on what that is all about.
What is interesting about Cyrus is his role in overthrowing literal Babylon (Jer. 51-52). Enlow elaborates on this history, and I recommend reading his article.
Why is this relevant? The Cyrus call on Donald Trump includes the overthrow of the Babylonian spirit present in the US and around the world. It precedes reformation.
- Babylon is the spiritual influence behind the deep state. State control, centralized control, manipulation, mind/media control, abortion, pedophilia, and global warming are outward manifestations. The freedom in the United States stands in the way of a one-world government and the Babylonian spirit of the age. Open borders, the media attacks on Trump, and the voluntary blindness of serfdom are all part of the chaotic soup.
- Babylon (the spirit of confusion & division) originated with the tower of Babel when rebellious sons of God were given rule over the nations (powers and principalities). Gen. 11:6, Deut. 32:8-9 RSV; The confusion of Babel was reversed/redeemed in Acts 2:6. 50:38 tells us something distinctive about these evil doers. “…And they are insane with their idols.” The darker elements of the Deep State believe they have protection through their idolatry, but it will not protect them, rather, it will make them the bullseye.
- The “elephant” in the room is that “some of our own” around the world believe in, and vote for, the deep state / Babylon. Even the elect are targeted for deception. This irrational behavior from otherwise decent people is the maddening wine of Rev. 14:8. The spirit behind the blindness of serfdom does not respond to logic or arguments. Exposure of its corruption is the truth that will awaken the slumber and set captive adherents free.
- We are in the initial stages of a great world-wide awakening that will lead to a Reformation “of Nations.” Donald Trump is one of many with a Cyrus anointing to lead the public exposure and take-down of the Babylonian spirit behind the deep state.
Awareness of President Trump’s role and Cyrus and the Babylonian spirit behind the media and deep state puts a Kingdom perspective on current events that is very encouraging. It’s an exciting time to be alive and take part in what the Father is doing. Now let’s read about Babylon in Revelation and Jer. 50-51. It’s like an owner’s manual for intercessors and patriots.
Rev. 14:8 A second angel followed and said, “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.” NIV
Jer.50:24 I set a trap for you, O Babylon, and you were caught before you knew it; you were found and captured because you opposed the Lord. NIV
Jer.51:7-8 Babylon was a gold cup in the Lord’s hand; she made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank her wine; therefore, they have now gone mad. Babylon will suddenly fall and be broken. NIV
Jer. 51:27 “Lift up a banner in the land! Blow the trumpet among the nations! Prepare the nations for battle against her; NIV
One more deep state observation – 70 years before President Trump, the United Nations (UN) began (2016-70 = 1946). The UN is partly a cover for a corrupt forum for international deep-staters like Soros. Once free of this Babylonian spirit of corruption, nations will return to the Kingdom (Ps.2:8) as sheep instead of goats. It’s our privilege to co-labor with the Father to bring about this reformation and lovingly open the blind eyes and set captives free. As we are possessing our spiritual inheritance, we are including possession of our own nation. We are proud of our spiritual heritage and patriotic regarding release of the book or destiny on our nation to be a blessing in the earth. The United States is called to be the light and the glory of the world; to pull nations into freedom (personally, practically, spiritually and economically).
Mt Hermon – A few days ago Donald Trump “fully recognized Israel’s Sovereignty” over the Golan Heights. For those who have read Seers and Doers, the Golan Heights includes Mt. Hermon, a type of the Biblical Mt. Zion… on this rock I will build my church (Mt. 16:18).
