Women in Marketplace Ministry

Women are equally called to function in the role of Kings and to personally experience the blessing, prosperity, ministry, boldness, results, etc.  Take a look at bio’s we’ve written around interviews with Kings. What you will see is that women are prominent in business and positions of influence in the Marketplace.  God has already released them!

In the marriage setting, I’m seeing an opportunity to engage in spiritual warfare that we should all be aware of. Here’s what happens. God usually puts an entrepreneurial anointing on one spouse ahead of the other – it’s not always the husband. The King in the relationship needs the freedom to pursue his or her dream… including the support from the other spouse. We fall off the two sides of this horse:

1. The King seizes the initiative and leaves the spouse behind, or

2. To maintain unity the King doesn’t move and nothing happens.

What we often miss is “the degree of spiritual warfare that goes with being a King.” The answer is built into our marriage. Husbands and wives praying together is the first line of defense in taking steps to possess their Kingly inheritance. When the enemy puts pressure on us in our business or job, that’s exactly the time we need to engage in intercession as a couple to break the resistance.

For Christians mature enough to be Kings, marital disunity is more often a sign of spiritual attack than a real marriage problem.

One of the interviews has a strong theme of a husband and wife finding their way to one accord in becoming Kings. Everett and Mary Hamilton.

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.Matt 18:18-20 KJV

I’m convinced, in the midst of earthquakes, wars, and turmoil, that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Why?  Because we’re becoming Kings. God is opening doors of ministry and prosperity in the marketplace. Ministry in the Marketplace has always been God’s means of fulfilling the great commission. Go into the world… make disciples. (Mt 28:19, Mk 16:15)

God’s plan is to make 2005 the best year of your life!

Don’t allow the enemy to steal your inheritance anymore.  If he has, ask the Lord to return it four-fold… In fact, demand it with your spouse.

5 David burned with anger against the man and said to Nathan, “As surely as the LORD lives, the man who did this deserves to die! 6 He must pay for that lamb four times over, because he did such a thing and had no pity.” 2 Sam 12:5-6

31 Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house. Prov 6:31

8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.”      Luke 19:8

Progress – Kingly Bio’s are Up

We’ve completed the first round of interviews with Kings.  These are real people that have been blessed by God in the Market Place and have hearts for ministry.  Check it out at  If you have a success story, we’d like to post it by giving you a web page on our site.

Progress – A Teacher’s Guide

We’ve completed the first version of a study guide that targets those teaching the material in Releasing Kings.  It includes a page of notes on each chapter, all the graphics suitable to make overheads, and a PDF file of the book with the key points highlighted that includes marginal notes, comments, and questions.  This material is available for purchase on the teacher’s guide page of the web.

Friends Tell Friends

Harold and I have both been hesitant to “market” this book… sounds self-serving.  Here’s the “grassroots” reality.  God has given us a great tool to communicate a message that sets people free in an amazing, contagious, life-changing way.  If you haven’t read it – get it.  If you have read it – give it.

We’ve gotten a ton of positive feedback on the newsletter too… get it, give it.  Reloading Seniors was powerful.  Pass the link on.

PS: don’t forget to look at the free reports – show your pastor the article on marketplace ministry from the pastor’s perspective.  You can simply email him this link or print a copy to give him.
