A Study Group – Many people are involved in Bible study groups to Release Kings. Here are some helpful suggestions www.Releasing-Kings.com/Starting-a-Group.html.
Recommended reading – I reread Developing a Prosperous Soul, Vol 2 – a book Harold wrote in 1997 available through the link. He’s also got another book coming out in November entitled God Is A Capitalist. Both are easy reading and very worthwhile.
Is Prosperity in the Atonement?
Yes – I think every good and perfect gift comes to us through Jesus’ work on the cross. Listen to these verses:
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. 2 Cor 8:9 NIV
You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today. Deut 8:17-18
The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. Prov 10:22 NIV
Here’s the key; like salvation or healing, prosperity comes when we respond to the grace of God. Grace or favor (Charis in the greek) according to Vines Dictionary is “the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life.” The only people that get saved are the ones that invite Jesus into their hearts. People that get healed ask for prayer and exercise faith. People that prosper are following the divine influence on their heart’s desires. They are doing what they enjoy.
Proactive instead of Passive – For some reason, we entertain the idea of God’s grace or favor for wealth in a passive sense. We expect a check to show up in the mail “by faith” with no effort in our part. Christians often hear about the concept of prosperity in the will of God (and believe it) and then proceed to take terrible risks trying to make it happen… and go broke. It’s “by grace through faith” with no wisdom or initiative. Here’s the middle ground. God does want to put His favor, grace and prosperity on our lives. It is His will. However, it’s just like learning to prophecy or pray for the sick. We have to cultivate the grace for prosperity. It takes time, wisdom, maturity and discipline. Listen to Jesus example:
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Luke 2:52 NIV
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18 NIV
If we don’t cooperate with God’s grace and respond to His influence on our hearts we run the risk of failing his grace or favor. We receive His grace in vain.
As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. 2 For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. 2 Cor 6:1-2 NIV
We also need to point out that there really is a timing issue involved. There is favor available to you and I to prosper right now in marketplace. There is a way to walk in that grace.
Wealth is a tool (See chapter 30 in Desire to Destiny) – When we use words like atonement, we run the risk of making wealth “the” goal. Our real objective is worshipping Jesus and putting the Kingdom first. Wealth is an important tool to help us worship more and build the Kingdom better. People that belittle the importance of finances regarding spirituality are naive. Listen to the way Jesus put it.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matt 6:21 NIV
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt 6:33 NIV
If you seek wealth apart from your Kingdom purpose, it will flee from you.
Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. 5 Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. Prov 23:4-5 NIV
If your eye is on the Kingdom, His Grace will operate on your heart and you will naturally gravitate toward desires and opportunities that will prosper your ability to build the Kingdom (“if” you respond to that grace). You’ll be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion you have to build the Kingdom and bless the nations. And, you’ll enjoy the whole process. It’s fun! Start watching for the opportunities the Holy Spirit is bringing your way.
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written: “He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” 10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 2 Cor 9:8-11 NIV

You’re invited into the vision to release Kings; communicate the message, make the money, and do the mission.
1.The Message – Our first goal is to get the Releasing Kings message into the hands of the messengers that will carry it… do it, preach it, teach it, example it.
2.The Money – The second goal is to help Kings break out of poverty by networking them with practical opportunities to prosper. We want to introduce them to the right people, the right opportunity, and the right financial approach.
3.The Mission – Network Kings with opportunities to mix business and missions. Accomplish the great commission through the marketplace.
